I'm using my server (Laptop) as a temporary place holder. I'm not the HA of the CG Minecraft server, but this isn't an official CG server. It's run off of a laptop. On a nightstand. Next to my bed.
If you guys like the world and mods on the server talk to Zombie Penguin, he may port the world over, it's up to him.
As far as adminship goes, I'm giving admin to ALL CL's and HA's. I get on it multiple times a day, and on days I don't, I read the console logs. Also, seeing as it's not an official CG server, It's my rules that are enforced not CG's. I'm using my personal resources to run the server, and as such I moderate it. Like I said before though, I respect the positions given to CG leadership and would happily have them administrate the server, but I'm not taking applications for admin or anything of that sort.

Can anyone confirm that the last server is no longer being funded? Probably should just ask inject, but seriously, not posted anywhere as far as I can tell. Unless he said it over vent or something.
He said it on vent last night. Might want to talk to him directly about it though. This isn't necessarily a replacement. More of a place-holder until we have the RAM upgrade and can put a server up on there. We currently don't know how long that will take, so I'm devoting my own resources to the MC server.

Especially when you're wrong. Also, I wasn't bragging about my internet speed, just stating my bandwidth as justification to why I think I could run a server. With some somewhat successful stress testing, I now know that I can.

I'm currently hosting a (hopefully) 24/7 Minecraft server for CG.
It's running on my laptop, which is a 2.1Ghz Quad with 6GB of RAM.
I use my desktop for everything, so it should be uninterrupted.
My internet connection is 10Mb, should be enough for quite a few people.
If you have any mods/suggestions post them here please.
At the moment the spawn is kinda spotty, but i'll gladly let somebody make a more appropriate one.
Seeing as I'm a HA, I will use the Minecraft section of our forums to appoint admins(if that many people play)
Currently it's not whitelisted, that could change.
Have fun, and please, don't try to crash it, I'll throw some auto-restart code in there so it doesn't stay down.

The CSS server hasn't been getting any love. I can't do much for it at this point. For the time being though, since we don't have any use for it, would you guys like a surf server? I've got no problem trying, seeing as nothing else has worked.

No, you must be a trial admin before you can be regular admin. So in order to be regular admin it's assumed you have at least 20 posts.

1. Server is not even online and working fully
2. I RARELY give out ANY recommendations for people but Krazy has been an admin for me back in CTC and I have known him longer than 95% of everyone in CG
He is krazy but he was a damn good admin
... It's not even online or working fully? Have you even paid any attention to the announcements or even checked? It's up, and it works fine. There was a map issue, but that's fixed. At the moment i'm not accepting admins, but when we reach that point, i'll definitely refer to this.

Our new GG server is now up and running, void of bugs(that I know of).
