OCZ are terrible with SDD's. Controller is bad. I believe sandforce.

Use a 2500k i5 you won't need a better CPU...

OCZ is good with SSD...  what other SSD are better
The CPU the 2500k was the same price for the 2570k so yeah....

OCZ's controller is made by Marvell, which also makes them for Corsair, Crucial and more.

And they are not bad. You information is years old.

Although the new Samsung ones are great Intel SSD's are actually really good as well getting some of the best write speeds with large files compared to any other SSD's available.

Samsung is a little on the expensive side in terms of SSD prices, and OCZ is pretty the same price as the rest of them to be honest. OCZ is completely fine. SSDs use to have tons of issues thoes issues with SSDs like OCZ were fixed ages ago.

IT"S FINE!@  ;D

yes they have gone up in price probably because of how well they were doing. Should probably only ever buy OEM SSD's tho unless your case doesn't come with a 2 1/2 " Mounting Bracket.

OCZ is fine. And is insanely fast. As for the rumours on SSD's dieing, thats total BS. An SSD should always out live a standard platter harddrive, unless its a super old SSD from before they were tweaked to their current awesomeness.

And most have warnetys. Mine I think has a 3 or 5 year one.

P.S. Just because I'm an AMD fanboy/prick/wanted to make a point by saying "I can make a build pretty much the same as yours but a bit cheaper"

Hmm. My 2 cents: Your system build is quite nice.  You figured out the i5>i7 in gaming.

IF you have a Micro Center in your area, go there and compare prices, as they are comparable to online prices, without the shipping charge.

Do not get a bulldozer, they are actually phasing out these cores, as they have newer cpus coming out in the 4th Quarter of the year. With an estimated 15% boost in performance at same ghz speed, and 4ghz out the box. (Think November.) So, if you want AMD, and your present system can hold on for a few months, wait.

Plextor is another brand to look at for SSD.

> Boxman your dont need 8 cores during gaming. Even super high end games only us up 4 cores max thats why i5 is fine and i7 is for like if you are rendering a video playing a game and steaming something and whatever just not needed to me.

No.  The i7 is slower in gaming than the i5, due to certain core processor differences.  The i7 is designed for heavy business programs, not for gaming.
So, buying the i5 for a gaming machine makes a lot of sense.  And its less expensive.
