Why were you banned: I don't know, didn't even get a warning. My best guess would be overuse of grenades.

Huh, I don't remember an admin telling me to do anything. Some people were yelling at me, but they were never identified as admins. I don't listen to random people telling me what to do and not do.

It was OMGzombiepenguin.

On several different occasions he would come in a spam grenades. I've seen different admins tell him to stop.

It was I who banned Dark_Muffins. I warned him to stop and so did Phreebird. So I banned him for less than a week. Afterwards I was told he has done this several other times. I did not increase the time banned after I heard all this. I only ban those who I see doing the action not from what I hear is being done. The one thing I can say to Dark_Muffins is maybe someone could unban you if you type a full hearted apology or something along the lines. You must admit you knew you were doing something agaist the rules at least. If you are not unbanned after this action thats a big "oh well". If anything you should gain a sense of acountability for your actions.

i say remove it its already been in place for a day and if he was ignoring the admins than it shouldnt be for 6 days for someone who has been a regular in cg for a while

Week ban is too severe for "Ignoring admins" which in itself sounds bad.
Example.

Guy 1: Why'd you ban that guy?
Admin: He ignored me.
Dino: Wtf

See it looks bad. xD

Well, the original ban for a week was not justified, but if he was breaking rules repeatedly before it's understandable. The issue with DarkRP is people get lots of money, and just buy lots of guns and end up harassing people and breaking rules--which can't be tolerated.

So if he had previous offenses of the same issue, then the week ban is justified, but other than that it should have been a day, or perhaps even an hour. A kick would have even got his attention, which is all you really needed.

Just read through the rules, and I find that my accused offense is the only rule that was broken. Usually the case for what seems like random killing would be the use of grenades for theft, which is not against the rules. Poeple are just idiots and can't get out of the way.

Perhaps the rules need to be revised.
