« on: July 14, 2013, 07:30:33 PM »
Code: [Select]
Move Forward = Mouse 1
Move Backward = Mouse 2
Fire = Space
Scope = S
Sneak = Left Shift
Strafe left = D
Strafe right = G
Jump = F
Crouch = C
Interact = E
Reload = R
Quick Switch = T
Chat = Y
Voice Chat = A
Primary = 3
Secondary =4
Knife = 5
Change Weapon = Mouse Wheel Down

I saw this IRL. Like what.
I want to try that though.

That's just confusing. Why did they make these?
Does this look like a ball field to you sucka? This is a sandbox. For making sandcastles.

The plunger could simply be out of view, the pants + it's location behind the toilet may hide it... Or it's a fraud and we need to take down the system with out golden axes while destroying the rest of the demon-spawn so that we may live in a utopia.

No idea, but I tried it and it actually works surprisingly well, it's actually comfortable if you get the hang, and it lets you focus on a lot more at once fsr.

the first FPS games didnt have strafing so turning was way more important, this scheme kind of reminds me of how those games were played

Luna started the rover's engine.  "AEIOU!" She shouted as she slammed the gas and crashed through the wall.

Pointless. Beside my mouse has faster response time then my keyboard. So I'd rather firing be on my high response timed device.

lol,
  This reminded me of one of my friends when we used to LAN party. We used to bitch at hime, because if he was over he would remap our keys to play on our rigs.

I can hardly remember them 100% accurate but ISYN:

z=Forward
x=back
c= left
v=right

You know if you were boss enough you would be rolling a PS/2 Keyboard so you wouldn't have to compete for USB bandwidth and also have to deal with n-key rollover.

just sayn'

Hilarity of the story. He was using a magnetic keyboard and just moved the buttons around.  laughface

E.g.

Z = Forward but he has placed Z where W would normally be.

Still fast on meh mouse. I don't use chicklet keyboards. The amount of pressure needed for a mouse is always less then a keyboard.

So in saying that. A (Ps/2 or w/e the mouse version is Called I can't remember) mouse vs a ps/2 keyboard. Mouse still wins.

I will only add to this debate the fact that you have a lot more latency on a USB mouse than you do on a dedicated PS/2 port that is meant for the mouse or keyboard.

Pressure on a mouse button are you serious Inject?
They have half travel/quarter travel keyboards and mechanical switches that are alot less touchy than what you are claiming. Yes clicking the mouse could be the quickest physical action compared to a key press. However, that doesn't count for much if the mouse has to Interrupt the extranl HDD that iswriting a file in order to send its command -_-

USB shares all of its bandwidth and CPU cycles with all devices connected, PS/2 does not.

In fact the keyboard interface has its own IRQ

I already said VS a PS/2 Mouse.
