Not exactly the appropriate place for Unknown to post pictures of him having RDMed people

Well really its the fun/frustration ratio.  If a game is more frustrating than it is fun for me, I just don't play because that is preferable to being cranky.  There are so many games and so little time I don't have the time to play them all anyways, so very many games I own on steam and have not even played yet (something like 12, Tictac has like 20!) so its not like I'm hurting for things to do by giving up on TTT :P

The biggest issue with TTT is that the way it is built it is very easy for a single person to ruin everything, and even with a shitload of admins on even with one bad person it can still get out of control and messy.

This is why I don't play TTT anymore (played it for a short time between SKG going down and CG starting) because one troll can ruin it and make it shit.

At least you can play it, currently working out running a separate hard drive with Windows 7 on the same computer just to play it...

I blame the humans.

Provided my .dll problem doesn't flare up with either of those progs, should be nice.

I would assume you have to install it on both hard drives, does it link to its own other instance, or its just basically like flipping a switch?

Thanks Inject, so basically the software you are talking about is a streamlined way to swap boot devices, so rather than restarting and then changing the BIOS and restarting again to load the other drive you can just do it straight from Windows?

Sounds simple enough.  I'll get my Win7 installed and running first then look into those progs.

Long story short, Bioshock:Infinite requires DirectX 11 so I need to run Windows 7 and I am not reinstalling around 500 gigs of games and other programs.

I have a second hard drive in my computer, would it be possible to install windows 7 on the slave hard drive, then switch my computer to boot from that drive when I want to run windows 7 and still have it work as a slave drive when I boot off my win XP hard drive?

Right now I have a SATA 750 gig main drive I run windows XP from, have all my games and programs installed to, etc, but I have an older IDE 250 gig hard drive I use to back up my files to every once in a while, just copy stuff from C:\ drive to F:\ drive.

So could I conceivably install Windows 7 to the second hard drive (after re-formatting it obviously), set my computer to boot from that hard drive, and load windows 7 with the other hard drive accessible?  Then restart and set the computer to boot from the main hard drive and load windows XP and have my computer run just the same as it does right now?

If not I'm just gonna buy the game for Xbox360 and hate the damn thumbstick controls...

Help Section / Re: Best wasy to get Fraps free
« on: March 26, 2013, 02:07:34 PM »
You should just get an internal, that way you won't be limited by USB.

Edit: If you stick to source games or ones with a replay function you don't need third party software. Although for .dem you would need a converter to .avi ,but you would stand a far better chance of finding freeware to do that.
Tic uses a laptop so internal drive would be impossible.

Fraps is a POS just use MSI Aferburners built in video capturing. Not only can you overclock your GPU you can also on the fly record shit and it does not lag my game nearly as much as Fraps does. Also since its an OC prog it is always running so you don't have to be like DAMMIT I don't have fraps on!

This is just my opinion...plenty of ppl use fraps, but why pay for something like this in 2013?

Also just about every time I say online oh I use fraps I get told its a PoS and I should use x or y instead...I threw fraps to the side and gave some of these x and ys a shot...I have never looked back.

tru story bro,

-Wooley

Doesn't record audio dude, which makes it pretty useless when playing games.
I have an MSI card and I've used the recording, no audio, no point!

edit: it is very good for screen capture/screenshots as it works no matter what even if a game is bugging out, but still crappy for video.

my god Herp do you like playing at a 800X600 resolution?? lol

Some of us resize the pictures so you can actually see them on the forums as the forums limit the width you can see.

My res is 1920x1080  but I shrink all my screenshots to be visible on forums

#1 too late for most of us here, but mainly #2 I need another place to buy stuff like I need a hole in my head :P

Way too many sites trying to sell me games I'm sticking with Steam.

edit: here's a review with very very little in the way of spoilers (in my opinion) which leaves me thinking it will be fun but not quite the best thing ever (the mention of lots of combat and cover usage)

I've had steam pre-ordered games before that didn't unlock at midnight the day they are released, sometimes not until well into the day of the release so it could be as sucky as tomorrow afternoon.  (Release is 3/26 not 3/25)
