Take into account how many underage children play violent video games.

-This is a problem in and of itself (This is called Child abuse...but we just gloss over that fact).

How is it child abuse?

Video games aren't even violent, I don't care how many people you shoot or how many gallons of blood are being spilled from one person, the kids know it is all fake and have a laugh about it. It's made out to seem that kids take anything they see as being real and will act it all out without hesitation.

I can tell you damn well sure that when I was a kid I didn't think it was okay to stick people full of arrows and then hack away their limbs like I did in Turok:Evolution.

Kids are smarter than that.

I was told that the guy played "violent video games". I don't find Starcraft II or Warcraft 3 (which is what this guy apparently played) violent enough to cause this. I love how people don't do their research on what these games are before blaming them.
I can't possibly imagine an rts making you want to murder someone. Maybe if the other player was being an asshole, but not because of the game itself.

well, maybe if you consider MOBAs to be RTSs..

Edit: Where did you get that Corey? Cause either his name is spelled wrong or its fake.

Oh now I see what you guys were talking about, it was from Facebook being shared around by people. I wasn't talking about the guy saying it but the picture itself.

If anyone ever wants to start an online group we could find a program to do it. It would be awesome. I'm not super experienced, but have been looking for a game for a while.

A lot of my friends at school play in a group weekly after school, but there are too many people so I'm waiting in line to get in on that.

Seriously though, we should start a CG group. It'd be awesome. Scheduling it all is hard though. I think Napolean BonaPARTY tried doing this forever ago, sadly it didn't work out. This thread really makes me wanna do some tabletops D;

Someone should do this, find a program/site and get people interested to join and learn how to use the program, we can have meeting date for it or just messages, like the Mafia game.

fucking christ I knew this would happen eventually

people using the event to promote their religion
???? So? Is it so wrong for people to be sad about a situation and spread their beliefs to people willing to accept them? If it makes someone happy or gives some one hope who cares? If it was West BuroBaptist Church or Scientology that would be a different story. Because West B.B.C just spreads hatred and Scientology just demands oodles of cash.

Not everyone who supports a church wants money. Their not all evil.

This isn't about supporting a church, this is someone trying to point the cause of the shooting at something completely irrelevant, even more irrelevant than some shitty gun control laws, and it just makes me madder that it is someone trying to say that this would have been prevented if America was just praising jeebus and all of his glory.
