I got registered on Star Citizen early on, it looks pretty awesome, but it is always possible that it might suck, it is a pretty ambitious project.

edit: totally missed that the OP was about this game already haha

Well the big thing missing us today is an asteroid, asteroids can destroy the planet so its a big deal to keep track of those

What hit russia was a meteorite part of a meteor shower, where they were all thought to be small and just burn up in atmosphere like most meteor shower, but NOPE one was big enough to boom over russia

Yeah his new albums good but I am nostalgic for the early stuff.

I think the Metallica comment was just trolling.  Either that or the guy's just dumb fanboy.

Fu Manchu is awesome skate rock/stoner rock that just good old fashioned fun rock with a lot of fuzz and the songs are about awesome old cars, skating, and cheesy sci-fi stuff.  Just good driving music and they have a lot of fun with it, they are not what I would call serious.  Just good times music.  Also lots and lots of fuzz.

Again, these guys are just about having a good time live

Yeah it nailed a building, hundreds of people were hit by glass but so far no fatalities reported.  Good thing it was just a teeny meteorite!

I was depressed about CKY breaking up so I haven't posted in 2 days but no bonus update today just one those 2 days will remain a memorial to the awesomeness that was CKY.

Blockhead was a hip hop producer who also put out a couple sample/electronic/beat/chill albums that are just amazingly feels.

This song blew my mind when I first heard it and I spend a LONG time trying to find out who the song was by or what it was called but I finally did and its just awesomeness.

That one's a bit more energetic, but on average most songs are more chill like this one:

This video sums up my feelings, it looked so much better in their demo footage, the actual game looks like it was made years ago the graphics are so meh and the enemy AI is so sad.

General Gaming Talk / Re: New Consoles
« on: February 13, 2013, 12:56:53 PM »
They will never die off, just like PC never did during the rise of the console.  I do think the new restrictions companies are putting in their consoles WILL cause some serious sales decline, like Xbox making it impossible to play used games, or Sony's ridiculous DRM ideas.

I think the Steam console will have a better chance to do well, because they KNOW the current market for games is downloadable, and they are the masters (well as much as you can be right now there are still problems but they're better than their competitors) of selling downloadable games and add-on content, not to mention how successful the Steam Workshop is (skyrim would only be half as fun without all the mods correcting balance, fixing bugs, improving graphics) and their ridiculous TF2 economy.

So TL;DR, Steam's new console has a good chance to do well in this market due to Sony and Microsoft being old farts and not knowing what their core customers want, consoles will not die because there are lots of people who prefer consoles, and PC's didn't die when consoles got popular, but PC gaming will definitely see a rise when people see the bullshit Microsoft and Sony are trying with their new consoles.

Nice to meet you Red, I'm Blue. The professor can never seem to remember my name, but that doesn't matter. Choose your starter pokemon so i can choose the one with the type advantage!

Does he at least remember whether you are a BOY or GIRL?  He always forgets that about me.  Maybe I should dress less androgynously.
