I care that we are seen as warmongering people who only want to go and kill terrorists for 'Murica, as it only causes arguments and just general dislike. We probably wouldn't do too well without the rest of the world as we are right now, if everyone else was just like "Fuck it, these guys are assholes, who needs 'em!"

well they are quite wrong. Shooting up people does nothing good for anybody. Preventing war is what we should focus on. Only morons want to start wars.

Corey is completely right. Considering what kind of damage towards our reputation we took for invading Iraq, the worst thing we can do is relish in more killing. We are being seen more as oppressors then liberators, and meddling in affairs we really don't need to meddle in.

I feel like a broken record, but we need another revolution. The path we are taking today is leading to nowhere (ineffective government, over bloated budget, billionaires and mega companies running everything, massive prison population and many social issues)

Why should I, a sane, law abiding citizen, lose a Constitutional Right, due to the acts of a few criminally insane people?

Really? You can use a Disc as shrapnel, Beat someone to death with a console. Break the disc into a dagger like shape. Beat someone to death with controller, Force them to wear the red boy with Warrio Land for hours non stop, beat them to death with you pre-order bonuses (Which generally have statues in them), Change the game that jacks you off into an item that auto stabs them. (Or put razer blades in the whole). And theres alot of other ways.

The argument is: Video games, movies, the media coverage, television, all glorify violence.  Making it, not only acceptable behavior, but making it somehow in the realm of being Godlike.

This is the concern.

Me, I just think we have put mental health issues, and criminal behavior issues, on the back burner in this country for too long.  And now we are reaping the benefits of ignoring mental health.

Their is problem with the argument you're trying to make kwaurts. Video games were made for 1 purpose and that was so people could be entertained while a gun's sole purpose is to kill people, I am not saying all guns should be banned or taken, but that assault rifles that are used for "hunting" with the ability to kill a mass amount of people should be banned.

Despite the second amendment giving them the rights to carry a firearm, these laws need to be more uptight when referring to weapons such as rifles and other firearms capable of holding rounds above 50.cal. There are many states that do not have a limit on caliber size.

This extract displays that, despite the extremely strict gun laws in most of Europe, it is still prone to mass shootings. This allows you to form your own opinion on the rights to carry a firearm and whether or not its caliber needs to be restricted.
