You can probably downgrade the case
Fan could just be a $10 heatsink for the cpu, it's a waste to get some over-the-top especially when you're not even using an Athlon in the first place.
Video card is low end/budget, probably won't run games well.
HDD could be knocked down to 500gb to save some money, 1tb isn't really needed unless you're one of those people who can't clean out your computer properly so you just leave 200gb of porn laying in your computer.
..Do you REALLY need a mouse or keyboard? Don't you have any spares laying around? Real men have spare cumpooter input devices laying around.
You can "borrow" Windows 7 and burn it onto a BOOTABLE disc to save money, a lot of money...
For the record, a good cpu is great to have, but I have a quad core that'll run games for the next two years... Your video card will probably be the first thing you need to upgrade.. If you're looking for a budget build, give me your price range and I'll figure one out for you. Fair warning; if it's below $500, the build will be horrible.
