Amnesia: The Dark Descent

Wow, what a game! If you don't know what it is, it's a first-person survival horror sort of game. No weapons at all in the game, you have to rely on your wits to hide and distract the enemy. There are several great moments of just running as fast as you can down twisty hallways without looking back in order to get away. I definitely recommend this game to everyone. Get it on Steam for only $20!

I find this amusing because while showing a friend the HL2EP2 mod Nightmare House 2 (which I found out about thru a thread in here) he mentioned this game, and it sounds really awesome. No weapons is a little lame though, I mean anyone can pick up a board or pipe lying around and hit things with it.

I have played through the demo and the only storyline to back you through this haunted trek through a castle is this:
You play as a guy named Daniel. Judging by his vocabulary and setting the game takes place in an Edgar Allen Poe-esque era where he attempts to cover up his mistakes by drinking a mysterious potion that erases his thoughts and memories. A memory-erasing potion per say?
Once he drinks it, you wake up in his place, wondering who, what, when, where, and how. He leaves a note to himself to Murder another man located in the castle once he has finished the drink, but doesn't explain why and only tells you to not dilly dally, for something is a miss...
Everything after that can only be explained in the demo.
