we allready had a discussion about this i think.
I don't believe in any higher powers so this is fairly easy for me... besides, if you had life and you knew you were controlled every step why would you even want to live anymore?

My dick is a higher power.
(on topic) NOPE. There is no such thing as fate or destiny. The future is only determined by our choices and conseqence.

so basically what you are saying is that there is no such living being inteligent as us
so we don't mentally exist?
because free will is a laaaaaaaaarge thing when it comes to inteligence and discovery

Unless you can prove the existence of a supreme being (God, fate, whatever), there is zero reason whatsoever to reject the notion of free will. Sure, there are environmental factors that limit our freedoms, but free will is literally a scientific characteristic of our species, being self-conscious organisms and all that stuff.

Even with the existence of God, you would still have free will.
Destiny is just one way for people to either confirm their life's actions or blame their own terrible decisions on something other than themselves.

Well, it depends on the type of God. Christian/Jewish/Muslim God, then yeah, although it could probably be argued that any god who intervenes in human affairs, performs miracles, etc., pollutes or tampers with our free will.

Well, I guess I would have to say that even if they do, we wouldn't really know about it, and would still make decisions by our own thought processes, unless we were confronted by said deity, which would change everything, lol.

Likely. I mean, there COULD be the possibility of a higher being up there that controls us but I'm doubtful of that. I mean in some cases we may not always have free will.

freewill is a conspiracy made up by the government.
srsly
PS
I feel like everything we do is planned out and we just follow this plan.
