Better graphics card.

So i'm pretty sure my Nvidia GTS 250 is what is causing my computer to overheat (apperently Planetside 2 is too much for it to handle), so i'm looking for a graphics card better than it, and maybe overheat less. at idle it stays around 55C, and when in game it jumps up to around 78C.
On a side not, i also downloaded Hardware Monitor that shows me the temperature of my parts. i have one thing that seems to stay at a constant 85-87C temperature (Named TMPIN0), whether idle or on a game. Not sure if i should be worried about it.

Yeah Idling at 55c is pretty bad so you should get a new one.

I use a MSI N570GTX Twin Frozr III which is based around the 570 GTX card, really good card for the low price (mine cost me $200 on ebay) 1280 meg and with the MSI software (I have a moderate fan speed curve set up, and so far the max it has needed to run at is 70% of the max fan speed) this thing idles at 30c and peaks around 50-55ish and that is when playing mass effect 3 multiplayer at max graphics for like 3 hours straight. Love this card so hard

Btw, this is the heat readings while playing Planetside 2, the min is computer startup, max is during PS2 gameplay.

I
HIGHLY,
HIGHLY doubt that besides you don't buy directly from them so it's not like your warranty is going to be void. They have quality products and I like their company. I'd support them.
Wouldn't you go to your favourite restaurant if it was closing? (Assuming not for bad reasons)

It all depends for me which company puts out the better series for the coming year when I want to upgrade but for now I am happy with my AMD card and if they do go out of business it will suck.

5 years, claiming video cards don't change.
