I dunno if this is necro but I'll post this anyways since I think it would be superfluous to make an entire topic/thread thingy to post this. I should be getting a new computer soon... So I'll probably be a whole lot more active on the forums and in the hidden servers in general. It will be good to be back.

Similar view but... One more chance, 1.5 weeks starting after the vote, if he's not permabanned since he's already been banned for a bit.
If there is ANYTHING that he does, a spray, language, team shooting, team killing, disrespect towards admins or other players in anyway, he should be banned permanently. No more chances and no appeal.

If there is a "TK-Limit Mod" up to 5 then how was I not auto-banned for exceeding 5 TK's?
People can "forgive" you for teamkilling, or they can just not use the menu that pops up. Other times, if the player killed is inactive, or just because of a glitch, it will automatically forgive the player for the "accidental" teamkill. Next time use that if someone is teamkilling so you can have your "revenge". You ought to know what it is.

First off this is a ban appeal so there is absolutely no reason for admins to get overly defensive especially when he isn't even asking for the ban to be removed and fully admits he was in the wrong. Secondly, if he is banned for a year what is the point of beating him over the head with pointless hindsight? Also he is right a year ban for a first offense is harsh, players don't have to bend the knee to the admin overlords or feel their wrath. He was banned for revenge TKing, how many times the admin in game told him to stop is irrelevant.
tl:dr, I see no issue with his ban being shortened, also be nice.
The fact that he was banned for a year doesn't mean simply a year ban, the trial admins, Echo and Cash, had the idea that, due to the fact that they can't permaban they should try to tell an admin/veteran admin/Pyro that this person has done something to deserve a permanent ban without having to message them about it or write down "requesting a permanent ban" in the ban description.
