Zombie Master / Re: ZM2 Server Online
« on: March 19, 2013, 01:58:58 PM »
Hoping the dev team patch it soon because it is barely playable with all the bugs, especially the weapon select system.
Agreed.

Anyways, reason an official announcement wasn't made is because it's not 100% set up. Just has stock maps and what not.
It has sourcebans, and sourcemod.

Should be fully setup and officially announced later today or Early Tomorrow.

All admins from ZM1 will be ported over to ZM2. In that you will have admin on both.

Only played it for 30min... but I don't see much wrong, I quite liked it.

If we ARE going to get one. I suggest doing it asap so that the other servers dont get all the regulars before us...

A bit late for that already, but yeah.
We didn't have a server box yesterday, not much I could do.

At least its not ZMBE right?!  Lawls.

IMO we don't need to switch over unless we lose players to ZM2.  The only improvement I see is that players can't teamkill by blocking people anymore.
Like I've said, you can fix that end part in ZM 1 (has been done on servers a lot) very easily.

I don't mind putting up a ZM2 server though, I'm just saying I'd personally have no interest in actually playing on it.

They ne3ver said it was gonna change the world, but they fixed a buttload of bugs, and removed player collisions which led to so very much teamkilling problems
That can be fixed with a simple source mod and is generally a preference thing. So I don't consider that an improvement.

And most of the changes are horrible in my opinion.
I dislike ZM2.

EDIT: Just opened up the audio manager and I keep getting a device unplugged and then replugged message over and over again. The front panel jack is flashing if that has anything to do with it. Maybe I should mess around with my motherboard headers?
Probably, make sure nothing came unpluged when you moved your thing over.

Okay, okay, I think it's time for a reformat/format/etc. Because now I can't even run ZM/open the Redist.

I am 100% okay with a format by now.
O.o Did you try my link?

EDIT:

And if your going to format then you may as well use Gustav's link then.

Go to microsoft's site, and search a fix for it.  See if there is. Or go to their forums for suggestions?
It's not a DLL that comes with windows, seems to be something for Visual C++ and a component that applications made from it use and implement.

EDIT:

http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/details.aspx?FamilyID=cb9bf144-1076-4615-9951-294eeb832823&displaylang=en

Should solve your issue. Bundled with PP Viewer, from microsoft.

Currently disk checking, has taken roughly an hour for 60% so far. I came across a device drivers reinstall disc. Would that be what I'm looking for to reinstall the dll?

Secondly, would format be necessary? :s

Edit: Yes, I have tried reinstalling SC2, Inject.
I would highly recommend against just reinstalling 1 DLL file.

And I wouldn't trust that DLL  site guvnar posted, getting 1 DLL online is almost always a bad decision.

And their is no real life DLL FIXER. 99% of the time, scareware.
