FINALLY someone is doing something about it. +11111, game on, I luv you 4ever and 5ever, etc.

Oh, and you might wanna do something about ranks on TTT. I was promoted to regular within 1 month and now it's been 6 months that I have been an admin on the server and I'm still regular, same with other people like Arth;  even thought he's an admin since september and is amongst the most active admins on the server, he's still trial. Looks like whoever is in charge of promoting/demoting isn't doing their job.

Everything Admin related is the HEAD admin's job aka Towersheep talk to him.  It can be hard because TTT has many admins and it can be hard to keep track.

If you were not on the forums for the last 2 months you were removed from admin


you are exempt from this if you made a time away

If it shows you have admin on the forums than you are good if not and would like to know why please pm me.  Mistakes do happen and if you believe your admin being removed was a mistake please PM me.

I will be going through the servers talking to head admins about the removal of these admins as their inactivity is beyond unacceptable.

Myg0t is a known trolling/hacker community. Since it appears that you have some bans on your record as well as wore that tag here then what do you think were gonna think? Myg0t is ban on sight, you wore the tag, you got the ban.

As stated above, I am not part of myg0t, nor am I a hacker/terrorist. Still don't see it in the rules.

If you were in their steam group or had their tag it is an automatic perma ban

Being a total flaming jackass on the server and trolling and being affiliated with hackers who have caused us much grief in the past doesn't have to be in the rules to take action.
If anything it is against COMMUNITY rules and standards and less server specific (we ban for every server if we see mygot)

and actually yes it is in the rules for CG that we do NOT tolerate ANY hacking at all even claiming to be one is an instant ban.

Mygot = hacking/trolling group


However IF you are in mygot is another story

I would like to hear from the admin that banned him how they compiled evidence that this person was affiliated or apart of mygot

If it is TTT you should not be getting lag

Your lag could be based off many things including just being far away
however our main serverbox is "overloaded" and the limiting factor is our RAM which we will be upgrading soon

I am considering shutting down the css and 24/7 dustbowl until we do because it is using ram just for the servers to be up.

In most cases I don't like when people automatically blame the server for every single piece of lag and fail to know how the internet works.

but in this case it really probably is the server's fault

Just to answer some of the posts that seem to be misguided. Personally use those on my public server, which we just finished the development on. Moderator abuse isn't even possible on my server. (>.>) Our server is pretty popular traffic-wise, and still everything is managed to remain legitimate and stuff. There are a few very important plugins that you would probably want for precautions though...

We have unlimited mysql servers

I don't care to expand player base with a 10 slot server. I want it to be there for already active CG people who play minecraft.

If that's epicly successful (unlike our last minecraft servers), then maybe we can invest in a public server of awesomeness, then we'll have a better idea of what to do, and what plugins to have, and it'll be FUCKING AWESOME.

Deeps in bad to our finances.  We have to pay an extra $200+ a year for a mc server of a small size (10-15 slot).  We are going to only have one minecraft server
if the server goes well and people start to play on it than we will probably expand the slots on the server.

I don't get it with faction mod if we configure it properly can't you set plots of land to be only yours and nobody can destroy or take your shit?
if so than I don't see the problem.  I don't even have minecraft anymore haha I am trying to find a workaround to get the server setup so my knowledge on minecraft is
very outdated probably.
