For example, researchers found that individuals who started using cannabis in adolescence and then carried on using it for years showed an average eight-point IQ decline.
This is not a significant drop because they could be staying in the same range.

Over 140 - Genius or almost genius
120 - 140 - Very superior intelligence
110 - 119 - Superior intelligence
90 - 109 - Average or normal intelligence
80 - 89 - Dullness
70 - 79 - Borderline deficiency in intelligence
Under 70 - Feeble-mindedness

This study is not saying that you are an idiot if you smoke or you'll become one. It is saying there are proven negative effects. Then again the IQ scale is a matter for another debate... it's not as effective as media wants it to be.

besides one thing they may not have accounted for is
1.  Those that smoke weed are more likely to drink alcohol (which WILL kill brain cells on a greater scale)

2. The study was 1,000 people from a specific geo graphic location.  Not only are the numbers on the low side (another survey about weed and its affects of cancer was about 40,000+ I think if I remember correctly) but also it is a different region with a different culture.

This was a study that followed people's lives over 25 years. A survey is nothing but a correlation-type study which means very little to the scientific community (Correlation =/= Causation). This is also a important study because it gives other scientists reason to invest the time and money in their area. You don't start studies on a worldwide scale, no one would fund such a costly study without these types of studies to prove they are worth the money.

3.  How early  are these teens starting to smoke?

This should have been stated in the article but remember this is a new report of the study. They actual study should clarify this.

All in all teens should not smoke or drink in general as it will affect their brains as they are still developing.  I agree partially with the study in that regard.
If so what is the that magic age where people can start to smoke?

"It is such a special study that I'm fairly confident that cannabis is safe for over-18 brains, but risky for under-18 brains."

no scientific evidence was brought forward in this study which makes it just a theory based off of statistics

A theory backed by a 25 year in-depth study. There is more to this report than the page wrote by the news. Do not discount the report based on what someone else writes about it. If you read the paper/report and have the same issues with it I'd be shocked it even got press.

What would you consider Scientific evidence? (Seriously)


I don't mean to be mean nor am I trying to insult you. I have had a good deal of experience with psychological research and just wanted to help people understand what was actually going on. You actually raised questions I could respond to!

Suggested solution?: No idea, apparently it's on the fast DL, but i cannot DL the map. Nor can i find a link to the actual DL of the map anywhere else.

This is akin to saying "We have problems. It's a specific type of problem" What maps does this happen for...

What kind of complaint?: Map selection.
Why are you complaining?: im getting tired of playing most of the maps over and over again.
Suggested solution?: add something that removes recently played maps from the list for a few rotations.

Tip 1: Use it on narrow hallways.
Tip 2: Aim for the shoulders not the head
Tip 3: Shoot them from the side... seems to work better

Old Crow has told me before, 3 rdm & leave could be permanent or a weekban, depending on the situation. Idk. There aren't set standards for Rdm & Leave in the punishment standards, maybe Tower could clarify them, even though they're obvious. Maybe just a clarification for what defines rdm & leave and mass rdm & leave.

i just looked closely at the logs he may of killed 3 innos but he damaged 4 thats mass rdm and leave you can p ban

In that case, yeah, I would permanent ban him Tendovvi.

If another admins tells you a punishment check the standards first. If it is not in there, alert me and I will update it. I added what should happen on leave.

Why are you complaining?: Atm silenced pistol and pistol do 101 dmg / headshot, you should check every guns damages cause i feel like theyre messed up, i mean check ALL just in case

Edit: SG damage is back to 149, also Im pretty sure Glock and HUGE damages are messed up too. Like I stated above, check them ALL.

Also office unlimited rearm is borke.

Something major broke in the last update. The dmg values are the same but they are being complied and interpreted incorrectly... unless you want to delve into the game's code I'm not sure if I can fix this.
