Meh, I've always hated mods that allow factions and land claiming and shit.

I admit that the one Sly had was terrible, it basically let you grab as much land as possible, but he screwed it up, this one would be much more limited in a land grab, so that some person like Irish Meme9 wouldn't just make a god damned tunnel thru the middle of the map

If you are going to be away for a period longer than 2-3 days, make a thread with the following information.

Name: Arth987

Time you are leaving: I believe 2 weeks

In Which server you are admin on: TTT

Additional Comments: well first I'm going to California for a little while and idk how he Internet is where I'm going this time away does not include forums btw. Also my computer is damaged and it will be a little while before I get the money for the parts so I can't get on ttt and perform my duties for a little while.

The sad part is that they have completely put themselves in this hole. Nintendo is selling each 3DS at a loss and as I'm sure you already know the same is true for the PS3 and the Xbox 360. What they really should focus is maybe not trying so hard to make the graphic jump this time and try to make it like a media center like I mentioned earlier, that way it will replace dedicated DVD/Blu-Ray players, Movie downloads, Music stereos and the such and could justify a higher cost, of course with the much lower cost of PC's today anyway, it's only a matter of time possibly (and let me state, I believe that the time is now) that the consoles cost as much or more then even the cheapest gaming rig you can build or buy. PC's cover all bases and all the multiplayer action is free, modding is free, you can own your own servers that act as another safety net to catch cheaters and trolls and there is a certain brotherhood (minus the trolls part, they just wont die  Meme8) to PC gaming that just is not seen in most console multiplayer games.

I bought arma 2 a week or so ago to play with some people, haven't tried many mods, but this looks awesome.  Game has so much potential, and it's very realistic.  Learning to play is a bitch though.  Confuses the hell out of me.

@Smiffy its free to try!

Black we need to play sometime then, i have nobody to play with 0.0

Free you say? Welp guess i can test if my comp can run it well then!, to play Day Z you need Arma 2 and Arma 2 Operation Arrowhead, I'll certianly try the normal game though.

Yes it is F2P the multiplayer version but arrowhead is an expansion pack. If you can wait for it I suggest it, since I got mine during one of the crazy Steam sales for 5 bucks, and bought my friend one as well

And that's 1000!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!  discofrog discofrog discofrog discofrog

Yes I mean population in the general sense, that we are starting to outgrow this planets ability to give us enough essential (read, water, food) resources to support everybody.

It is true, cities do promote the spread of disease and crime but these are things that can be fixed with the right amount of people, time, and programs. We are certainly at a standstill when it comes to progress today (and like you guys mentioned, a major de-population event) so I am pretty sure we will start a huge leap in the progress of improving liberties for most people of the world or fixing problems such as hunger in the near future. The question is when, because it just seems America is so damned fixed on trying to get back to the good ol' times when we should be focusing on the good new times.

The Obama Administration said they would veto it if it came to vote, so quit worrying.
BUT! if he does veto the bill it goes back to congress and they vote once more and can over power the veto.

You realize that after a veto you need a 2/3 majority in the house and senate, which mean some people on the other side need to vote for the side trying to pass it. With the way both parties are split, if it get vetoed then its gonna be hard to pass.
I hope that it doesn't pass because i don't want the government talking my info without my say.

Dude they already can, they can trace our phones, pull up any text/email that they want and they do but im with you there they don't need any more power to do it!

Aimbotters are banned all the time, doubt it was ed.  I forgot to rewatch them, I'll do it when I get home and give a more solid opinion.

Yes please do,

Andre:. No this was the other day, you were not on.

Ed: its called prefire, sethhacks allows for it.

Exactly like waffles said, gotta give warnings before muted or at least reasons why and if the person leaves to avoid Tell them that if they continue its a possible pmute. Until sprite responds or waffles checks logs we won't know for certain.

As for grey, you can't bitch out other people, makes the server look like we accept personal attacks against others and under no circumstances is that permitted. the muting sounds more then justified (not refering to pmute)

@Pills: some jobs have that but most do not. When I get a job as a pilot I basically have to sit in front of a 3 person board and get my brain picked to get hired. Reason is that in aviation you dot want some macho man trying to fly the plane, and you don't want assholes fighting with their co-pilots. It's something that could be adopted for legit jobs, at least more of them. Thing is, McDonald's is a beginning job for teenagers so they won't always look for the best help, they just need somebody to work the grill

Exactly, most jobs like that require screenings and other things to make sure the person is capable of the job, but not all of them that involve human interaction.

Also when I imagine these ideal cities/civilization, I kind of imagine the whole world working together that way at that point; most every city and nation connected one way or another. So I don't really see overpopulation like that happening, I mean it's entirely possible but we haven't really even completely established how those cities would be, much less how overpopulation would be an issue.

Overpopulation in general is an issue. Overpopulation in a city is not really possible if everything is taken care of like in Toyko, New York, and the such
