UPDATE:Name: Crovv Time you are leaving: Since Saturday/Sunday, September 7, 2013. In Which server you are admin on: TTT Estimated time/date of return: December OR when I can get a new laptop. Most weekends I'll be able to be on, though. Additional Comments: Move went okay, school is going okay, but my laptop only works with Minecraft and browser games at the minute for no reason at all. So unless I can get that fixed or get my desktop up here or replace my laptop, I'm kinda stuck.  My mother has informed me that I'll be able to bring my computer once I'm done with college apps and all that shit, which will be around November, December, possible January if I don't get accepted to my first choice schools.

Help Request Subject: Buying a Laptop Specific people needed to read this: People who know good gaming Summarize help request in one sentence: I'm looking for a gaming laptop (PC, preferably) to replace this:  . [Before anyone is going to troll me for having a MacBook, it used to be purely for school and video editing and writing, not for gaming, and I was comfortable using a Mac for editing because of my video class. So shut up.  ] Additional Info: Can anyone help me pick out a laptop? /r/SuggestALaptop is no help what-so-ever unless you go by what people already said. I'm looking at at the Sager NP8235 (Clevo P151SM1) right now, and it seems like what I want, but by going by what they said, I need to raise the price from 1200 to 1500ish to get what I want out of it. TL;DR: I want an upgrade or replacement that will be good for video/picture editing (and maybe recording), coding, school, and gaming. Importance level(low,medium,high): High, as I won't be able to play many/any Steam games on this laptop, which will render me pretty useless to the CG community. Steam related?: Sorta.

YEY COOKIES. I sound like a 4 year old. Back when i was populating the game during the first week it was up i had a bunch of people spraying nude paint, using a speed hack for some reason, and cursing every single second. then they will jump off really quick before i can get their steam ids.

Keep in mind, this is just playing. You guys don't need full blown admin to help get the vanilla server off its.. uh... wheelchair. We just need some people to play like.. one or two nights just to get the name out there.. I can hit up some of the saxton regulars/reassemble some of the saxton admins to help too.
I know, but if you're the only admin then there's going to be times when you're not on and I don't know how bad the TF2 community is, but you're going to need some help with it. I'll jump on even without admin, but I'd rather there was someone on with it in case of problems; the little free time I have recently has been dedicated to Skyrim because I won't have to deal with the stress of multiplayer. /rant

What do you guys feel about Social media and its impact on personal self esteem/identity?
On this front, I feel like Social media brings out the best and worst of humanity. Its not so much the problem with anonymity that we might have with things like forums, 4chan, reddit, etc., but more the "Look at how great I'm doing in my life" that people then go "Wait, if they're doing so great, why am I not?" Its giving a false image to a lot of people, and letting people compare themselves to others and possibly lie about their lives to feel better about themselves. The person I am/was on Facebook is not who you will see when meeting me in person and becoming my close friend. Then again, the person I am in public isn't who I am either, unless I'm with people I'm really close or comfortable with. While I'm getting better at this in person, I think people who don't know me but see me on Facebook might get the wrong image. Going back to self-esteem, however, there's the cliche that people are looking up their exes on Facebook and being like "WAAAAAAAAAH I DON'T HAVE A GOOD ENOUGH LIFE", and I think that happens daily with teenagers and adults alike, not only with their exes or once-friends, but also with anyone.

I was on the tech crew twice last year and I really enjoyed it, but I prefer acting, to be honest. Good luck with Footloose!

I agree with Chris. I actually deactivated my Facebook for the last bit of the summer (which ended up only being a couple weeks, because my Comp Sci class has a group on it that we're supposed to use as a forum but never do). I used to be really dramatic, angsty, or ranty on Facebook but I don't see the point anymore. I can write on my own and not show anyone to get my feelings out on that front, and I've been unfollowing pages I used to follow because they're all spammy or stupid or just not what I'm into anymore. I'd honestly have a better life if I didn't have my Facebook, Tumblr, and even my Twitter even though I'm in the same boat. Twitter is basically my "follow interesting people/people who post interesting links" device, so I don't post anything there.

I think it was my freshman year in high school, our school was doing Kiss me Kate for our One Act competition show, and some other school did The 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee and it was so good!!! 
I'm VP Panch, which is hilariously awesome because I don't have any solos (I prefer acting over singing, but I'm starting to get into singing now that I've done it in public with people who don't judge me for it) and the improvisation is fun. The jokes are fun, as well. Show opens in about a month.

2. Considering that camera is facing you and not through a mirror, isn't your name spelled backwards on your jacket?
1. I dunno, I didn't make the jacket  The cursive names are strange but I never see the name, so its okay. 2. No, my stupid laptop does that.  I fixed it
