So unfair. We get to sit and spin spending money on prisons and tax cuts for oil companies, yet the Netherlands get this! 94

General Gaming Talk / sins of a solar empire epic large CG game« on: December 31, 2012, 02:55:58 PM »
Calling all CG members that play Sins. I have been discussing it with some of you already, that I would like to start an epic game of sins, us versus the AI (some yards, the rest medium, some specific).
the way we would go about this is to pick a day during the week where we can all play for an hour or two. It would take forever yes, but it would be awesome. so who wants to be a part of this? 99
General Gaming Talk / NRA president blames videogames for school shooting« on: December 23, 2012, 12:01:53 AM »

wow, way to deflect the blame towards gaming. Yes because the large amount of studies that show games are not linked to more violence is to be disregarded, and the possible defect gun laws can't be blamed. 100
Debate Forum / Gun control: Due to recent events« on: December 14, 2012, 07:40:29 PM »
Easy enough
My two cents: It works in other places like Europe but I highly doubt it would be as effective here. You guys fail to realize how big the population is in the US when you compare it to Finland (Tendovvi!). We have 300+ million, you have almost 6 million. When you only have that small of a number of people to watch out for, it makes it pretty easy to control things but here, we got basically 6 different regions (Pacific, West, Southwest, South, East, Midwest. Just for simplicity sake) that all have different mentalities about everything. There really isn't a one size fits all gun control. You either allow them or don't. If you don't allow guns to be owned, criminals get them anyway. Most (read: not all) guns used in crimes are illegally obtained, as they are harder to trace and easier to get a hold of. If you do allow everybody to have guns, then the nuts like recent events get them and use them to kill innocent people. There has to be a balance so maybe now we should also register assault weapons. The most recent events we have had happen all involve an assault weapon. I would like to see some more regulation on assault weapons as in registering, back round checks that sort of thing. In terms of full regulation, no. Too often will people find a way, and when normal, law abiding citizens are not allowed to carry, we are basically at the mercy of others. A guy almost a year ago killed his father with a baseball bat. People will find a way to make others dead. A massacre like this however, can be avoided if we do use proper regulation on assault weapons (look it up already!). I would also like to see more security at schools. Seems like it is much too lax. Annnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnd GO! 101
No More Room In Hell / Servers« on: December 14, 2012, 01:57:05 AM »
Any chance we can make one survival and one objective? Survival mode is kinda weak but it seems to be the only thing available right now, so we are kinda stuck in a loop. RTV only brings up Survival maps as well.
