OBAMA. OBAMA.
I wonder what is legally recreational at this point now, and if people are still going to get arrested?

I don't smoke weed, but I guarantee you that this will somehow make our economy stronger in some way. Which is going to be somewhat ironic in itself.

Mexico wants us to, or at least their criminal experts. Why? Cuts the profits of the drug cartels, making them weaker.
-
@Pillz: It is legal at the state level but the Feds can still prosecute people for it. The small time people that make it and deal with it will be fine, but if your growing alot of it there is a good chance the Feds will do something about it. Until its legal at the Federal level it is still technically illegal, but having the props in these three states (Wash, forgot the other one, and Colorado) shows a good direction in trying to make it a controlled substance.

So your government is going to pay off its debt, by becoming drug dealers?
(I'm joking)

I don't know about there, but I really think it'd be a good idea here - not just because I would like to try at least once, but because it would cut down crime so much.
Had a few drug dealers plant some weed in my garden (Which is more like a jungle right now, getting it sorted in the new year <3), they all got arrested though because my front-door neighbor is a cop and ordered a sting on them! xD

To be serious they should. Drug dealers are making thousands of dollars a day, and what do they spend it on? Illegal guns, more illegal drugs, and it goes towards bringing people into your gang to shoot other people from other gangs.
Tax it, regulate it, profit, decrease crime, the pros far outweigh the cons.
Just don't forget there are cons. Its just as bad as smoking cigarettes, if not worse. It is also addictive(maybe not physically, but physiologically I would say there is an argument there).

On the case of cons I agree with the cigarettes, but it should be taken into account that one spliff is much better than getting shitfaced on booze x)

You're right, the post you just made wouldn't represent me as a professional.
