Title: Minecraft Textures in CSS
Post by: IrishBandit on May 05, 2011, 03:02:02 AM
I've been converting textures straight outta Minecraft into the Source engine. The textures are 512x512, the blocks are 32x32.

Lapis Ore
Find out how to make the various plants and torches
Redstone related objects

Birch/Pine wood

T testers are just damn gay. It makes the game to easy. Little kids need to know how to play the game...

Could you provide me a link to the texture ASAP?
I love to implement them in my ttt_minecraft map.

I am still working on my water texture. It has some wierd bugs. Where you can see through the walls.
(Or its just a map leak)

The biggest pain is going to be trying to make the flowers and torches and stuff.

How did you do the ice.
I have like:
"LightmappedGeneric"
{
   "$basetexture" "minecraft/ice"
   "$transculent" "1"
   "$decal" "1"
}

Do you need to apply some settings in like GIMP/Photoshop.

"LightmappedGeneric"
{
   "$basetexture" "Minecraft512/MinecraftIce_512"
   "$surfaceprop" "Ice"
   "$translucent" 1
}

No? Why would you need to?

For some reason my $transculent wasn't working in the map. But now it does. Nvm ;)
