I don't think it gets boring, unless you play it for a quite few hours straight.
Anyway, I do play more games, like TF2, and play DOD:S and CS:S on occasion. A bunch of other stuff also.

Sure, I'm not very good at it, but sounds fun.
I don't really like shooters that are slow like CSS personally, but i still play it every once in awhile.
More into firearms, quake, tf2, that sorta thing.
