Unless you believe in parallel worlds this isn't possible.
However I'd like to point out backward time travel is also possible considering that the machine existed back to when you wish to go. obviously theirs alot of left out details, but it seems pretty possible.

You need parallel universes in order for backward time travel to exist.

Suicide: Go to the future kill yourself.... blah blah blah, how is it suicide? You must really hate yourself for what you may or might become.
Murder: It's not you because its another version of you from the future. Basically, to "kill" another "being/soul" is considered murder, unless the future allows it.
In the End: You must really hate your future self.

Doc gave the best answer so far.
The question though is too vague. If you go to the future, there would be no other being which can be labeled a "future you." It's impossible with today's knowledge and technology to go back in the past. Thus, you can only more forward. If your body travels in the future, that's just it. It's your body, and only your body. There is no alternate you (excluding clones) which decided "Hey, I'm not going to time travel when the original me decided to and I will live on the earth while the other me goes into the future." The only way to "travel in the future" is to travel at light speed for a long time around earth enough times to where your body doesn't age as fast.
Now with that being said, if you travel into the future and kill yourself (meaning the body in which you are in) then it is suicide.

Isnt suicide technically a murder?
Murder:
Law . the killing of another human being under conditions specifically covered in law. In the U.S., special statutory definitions include murder committed with malice aforethought, characterized by deliberation or premeditation or occurring during the commission of another serious crime, as robbery or arson (first-degree murder), and murder by intent but without deliberation or premeditation (second-degree murder).
Suicide:
the intentional taking of one's own life.

If you go back in time to kill your grandfather, you cease to exist, so you'd think the event of you taking his life would cease to exist, therefore causing you to exist? That's where I get lost, unless imdoingitwrong.
+ To go forth in time, and kill yourself, would be in the eyes of society and anything really, murder. If YOU, the murderer, aren't dying, and remain alive, you have not committed suicide.

i say its murder. When u travel in future to kill urself u end ur life at that time. as if u were murdered, or ur life ends by some cause. almost as if it was natural to happen or "destined"
but if u travel back in time and kill urself, urself would then disappear "hypothetically" since u would not exist to that current day
