Dump your favorite house here, doesn't matter what kind. I've got a shitload of favorites, but I will start with only one.

The pauses with the kick drum after 3:00 are just so wonderful.

Yeah I'm so picky I'm sorting through all my music and trying to figure what's House, what's electronic, what's just dubstep and meh; you should rename the thread Electro music since that's basically the overlord genre; and daft punk is considered Electronic I think. Though I've heard them called Acid House before; but anywho you started with Daft Punk I'll continue with a Deadmau5 track; my favoritefavorite by him.

I'll probably be spamming this thread with random bits of electronic music I feel like sharing; some may be a bit dubsteppy but only if it sounds bootiful.
This whole thing is a travesty.

For starters, Pillz is obviously the sexiest.

House is a subgenre of electronic. When people say house, it's starting to have a very wide range, but electronic is even bigger, and I don't really want dubstep. House is pretty much percussion heavy edm, but unlike a lot of electronic it's not drowned out by wubs and dubs. It's often just a nice four on the floor kit pattern with a bassline and other stuff. But it's become kind of a wide term, so I'm just generalizing here.

House is electronic, but electronic isn't house, so just gonna leave it as is.

Some more classic french house:
<a href="http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=TUC2b-OSZ00" target="_blank">http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=TUC2b-OSZ00</a>

I'd edit it into my other post, but I feel the need to bump this, because the music board is neglected enough and I love this shit.

Yeah; well when I first got into music I started with Daft Punk and house so it's been a while since that's what I've really paid attention to. I didn't mean to list a electronica as a genre to pick from but I agree because the entire genre IS Electronica. I've even read the Wiki which lists all the subgenres of minihouse, acid house, progressive house, euro house; and so on. I was obsessed with it for a few years then I found that Renard dude and found myself more involved in Breakbeat and heavier more complex techno's. I'll throw a few out and see how you like them like Phutureprimitive; it's light and perty sounding while still involving some bassy wubs. I don't really care for Skrillex-esque dubstep because it's just annoying but stuff like this is relaxing and entrancing like house can be.

Or I could post more music like Benny Benassi and others; another one I was obsessed with in my younger days after hearing Satisfaction.. but I see you've got the lighter more repetitive original house style in mind. I think to be honest I was kinda originally kinda shied away from this kind of music because it felt a bit boring at first; like your first daft punk song was one of my least favorites by them, but I'm not saying I don't like it; because it's a cool catchy song but I just skipped it often.. lol

Anywho. You know Benassi rite?

Yeah, I've heard both of them. I hear phutureprimitive on my pandora, some of the songs I really like, can't remember their names though.

Also, Klutonec, some good stuff.

Progressive house can be kind of trancy, but yeah, it's kind of ridiculous how many different sub genres of electronic music there are.

See this is why I don't talk about any electronic music, the genres are so fucking convoluted, I don't have the time to learn that kind of nuance.
