War Thunder

I've played this game a little bit. Compared to World of Warplanes it did many things right (graphics, tier trees), some things wrong (*cough* Russian aircraft bias *cough*) but after thinking about it and talking to Liam about it, I'm going to give it another go.

I've lost faith that World of Warplanes will ever leave Beta, or that Wargaming will ever update it since they seem to move only slightly faster then CG when it comes to implementing things:
Spoiler for Hidden:
<a href="http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=UfOqXFcycB8" target="_blank">http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=UfOqXFcycB8</a>

Jokes aside, does anybody want to join me to play this? You don't need a joystick, actually playing with a joystick is a slight disadvantage (something else that irked me, but I'll play with it cause y'know, I'm a pilot). When I was playing World of Warplanes, I had quite some fun when playing with random people, and Krolin played with me as well.

The game is completely free and is available on Steam.

Aslong as the controls don't make me want to smash my head in with the keyboard I'd down with it

I tried it once, but I made the mistake of trying with a joystick and got kind of upset with it. Didn't touch it after that. I might try playing again with keyboard/mouse. :)

The game certainly seems to have improved, unless I'm just playing against average people. At least it seems like the Russian starter biplanes aren't as OP as they were in open beta.

Yeah I have wondered about this.

Supposed to be better than World of Warplanes.

Downloading. Sigh. Takes forever.

I played this for a few weeks on one of the earlier versions that had the faults you spoke of and might be willing to give it another go, assuming it doesn't make me start from level one again...
Does this look like a ball field to you sucka? This is a sandbox. For making sandcastles.

Only been in it once didn't really pay attention to the staff, I think their was an eatable thong... but that may have been a totally different store, ANYWAYS... lol.
The plunger could simply be out of view, the pants + it's location behind the toilet may hide it... Or it's a fraud and we need to take down the system with out golden axes while destroying the rest of the demon-spawn so that we may live in a utopia.

Sweet. I'll probably suck but if we have a squad it won't be so bad.

Double post but here was some fun from Nucleartaco, Lone Grey, and Oobla (Sky was there too, but he had to leave early  :()

If you squint real hard, you can see Oobla and Lone chasing a bomber

Then this happened...

Then it happened again!

There is Oobla ahead of me. Then I got shot down shortly after lol

All in all, the game is like 10 times better with friends playing. I'll be playing it again tomorrow unless something comes up.
