I'm Ghast. (From Minecraft? No. Fuck you Nick.) Some might know me as G-man. I joined CG in late 2010 and would have random spurs of activity in the community since my admin resignation. Hoping to make it permanent now.
Let's face it, a lot of people hate(d) me. Still unsure why, but I think I've changed for the better. If you're the type to hold grudges, I don't really care. (though neither should you) Feel free to become friends with me if you're not afraid.

I've recently had my position as TTT admin sanctioned, but I'd like to transfer my 'Admin' over to the Zombie Master server.
I've realized (again) that TTT isn't what it used to be, and it's filled with even more retarded bullshit than before.
Zombie Master is for chiiilllllllll people. Go play TTT if you want to experience the beautiful contrast of constant harmonized screaming, whiny fucking kids and draaaamaa.

Aside from being an Admin, CL or Coder, there are about 6-7 other titles awarded to users with a certain post count.
Although they are of little significance, I suggest updating this to:
-Make Ranks look cooler
-Give new users something to strive for and a reason to stick around
-Maybe even allow custom titles, once they've reached a certain post count.
I noticed the ranks had a certain theme. The current one being military ranks.
Here are my suggestions:

100+ - Vagabond
250+ - Adventurer
400+ - Champion
700+ - Hero
1000+ - Lord
2000+ - King

I for one, question the veracity of anything not proven by science or massive collective observation. However there are a few inexplicable occurrences that cannot be explained or comprehended, as of yet, by mankind.
This is where conspiracy theories are introduced. Conspiracy theories are in place to give the closest rational explanation to a particular event (or existence of an object) if it cannot be explained using standard human logic. Essentially, it is an indeterminate definition for something that cannot be defined due to the nature of itself. These theories were constructed in the same manner as religion; Humanity's astute intellectual paradigms and thirst for awareness called for something to fill the gap; something to believe and lay their faith in.
SO guys, what are some conspiracy theories you believe in? Do some theories have enough foundation and evidence to be cemented as fact? Are conspiracy theories a joke?

The arcade definitely needs some work.
I honestly loved the idea or challenging people from the community and comparing scores with others, but the entire thing is just...really banal now.
So I've created this thread to hopefully brainstorm some suggestions that could help make the Arcade fun again.
REMOVE CERTAIN GAMES
Some games are fucking' impossible to beat, and some games only have one outcome/one possible final score.
I'm talking about those games where you time your swing to hit a falling object. Several people have achieved the score, but only one person can keep the trophy; the person who got it first.
These games are fun, but they don't belong in an Arcade with a competitive nature.
RESET ALL SCORES
This will basically refresh the arcade, compelling everyone to play again and hopefully set the bars high.
ADD GAMES UPON REQUEST & REVIEW
If someone wants to add a game to the arcade, I'm assuming you'll be the only one who can do this, Inject. So I was thinking of having an official thread open for game suggestions. If this is too much work for you and/or you are just busy, offer this job to someone else. They can be the official "Arcade Manager" or whatever, responsible for managing the arcade...lol
There are A LOT of games I'd like to see in the Arcade, but I keep getting neglected...
This is like the third time I've brought up fixing the Arcade, but no one's listened.

Here are some general suggestions for the betterment of the community (particularly the website)
- WEBSITE CLOCK (MINOR)
Some of us, do not live in the same timezone as the server/host, and although most standard computers have built-in clocks/time-trackers, it'd be nice if we could see the correct time displayed on the site, according to the timezone we live in.
- VENTRILLO
More slots. That's pretty much the only thing it needs. Earlier today, people weren't able to join because it was too full.
- LUA CODE CONSCRIPTION
Those who are willing to learn, should learn, and some should be drafted to be taught. In a month, CG could have well over 20 coders, trained and ready to serve, instead of just waiting for a coder to stop by CG,help out for a while, then leave. (which seems to be the trend. Will probably never happen)
- EXPLICIT IMAGERY
Instead of completely deleting posts that contain pornographic or just graphic material, the website should (depending on the age[used to register on the forums] of the user viewing the post) censor the post with another image. If the user is above the age requirement, they may view the post (the users will be prompted whether they want to view the post or not)
- ARCADE GAMES
Inject, creator of the arcade add-on to the site, should give public access to which games should be added (preferably a poll/voting system). Users may nominate various flash games (that are not licensed) and users can choose whether or not it should be added. Users may also submit some of their own content to the site.
- PROFILE CUSTOMIZATION
Although this is REALLY asking for much, I feel that each CG member is unique and what better way to broadcast our uniqueness than a customized profile page? We could add custom background images, custom text, and even custom music that plays whenever you visit the page. I'm just saying.. the avatar and sig. aren't enough !
- WEBSITE ACCOLADES
Awards/Medals given to users on the forum who accomplish certain goals/requirements. (e.g, 500+ posts, Alcohol/Drug Abuser, for saying a 'secret phrase', etc.) It'd be cool to see on your profile and it'd give users more of a reason to use the forums.
- CONJOINT GAMING IN SOCIAL NETWORKING
I know many of you use Social Networking websites or services and that may be the key to attracting people to the community! For example, if CG were to have a Twitter account, Wholegrain (or whoever) could tweet major updates to the site, things being added to the store/servers/arcade, and various events, like Movie Night. Other examples are, a Facebook/Myspace Group, a Twitter, or even a Tumblr (fuck this shit).
- IRC
Instead of the shoutbox (although I'll dearly miss it, if it gets removed) why don't we use IRC(internet relay chat). I'm sure many of you have heard of this service that allows users to have real-time text conversations with each other. I'm pretty sure Cadaver will know how to configure/use this.
If you have any other suggestions, or would like to comment/add on to the ones aforementioned, feel free to do so in this thread.

Hey Cg. Looks like a lot has changed since I left. I'm not the same dick you may have known before. (also sorry for whatever I might've said when I left) Hope to see you guys in-game. *Still re-downloading all that shit, re-adding people, etc. So it might be a while till I'm actually playing* HINT: not as old as CTC and ragequit a couple months ago.
