Hi. I am new here. I am glad Conjointgaming.com is here.

I am unable to enter into the Conjointgaming servers on the game "The Hidden". I am not sure why. When I go to enter into the servers, it starts to load for a second but then stops real quick and I'm right back to choosing a server to go onto. I looked over on this here websites "ban" area and I do not see any names I used for my Steam accounts, I don't chat or talk much at all when playing games online, so I know I have not offended anyone or caused anyone to report or whatever about my gameplay.

Am I missing a map or a code or something? I wish I had more info to give anyone who posts here, I am a newb when it comes to using extra game code. Like, I am more of an 'end-user', not a programmer and stuff, I can log on, enter a server, shoot em up, and that's about it.   

Let me know if you see a prior post to this solution, I saw none on the forums, or if you have a fix, or if you can show me how to give you more info so this issue could be solved somehow.

At the very bottom of the other thread (on the left side) there will be a button to either lock or remove thread.
For you problem I believe it's because the CL's have yet to update one of our hidden servers to the proper version.

I believe we have two other servers that are currently up to date, you may want to try one of those.
I apologize for the lack of response from other or a proper answer, I don't actually admin a server but I believe this is the issue.

Ushers, you need to update your Source SDK Base 2006. When you do that you will be able to play hidden on Conjoint Gaming servers again.

Excellent. So, what I did to resolve the issue is what you said; to update the Source SDK 2006. How I did that is:

1. Log into my Steam acct.
2. Go to Library.
3. Go to Tools.
3. Scrolled down to Source SDK 2006.
4. Clicked on Source SDK 2006 a few times until it started updating.
5. While I was in Tools, I updated Source SDK 2007 also, just in case.

Thanks again for the answer to a tricky question, your solution worked and now I can log into all Conjoint Gaming servers and also other servers for "The Hidden".

There was a fairly sizeable update to Source a week or two ago, so it's not too surprising. We slowly transitioned our servers over to try and avoid too many of these issues, but it's still bound to happen. Glad to hear it worked.
