No, seriously. A lack of calcium makes for weak bones -- especially for a man that puts a LOT of stress on his legs on what I would assume is a daily basis. His leg finally said, "fuck it".
That's the only valid explanation I could ever fathom. The impact wasn't too hard, and the landing trajectory wasn't even that obscure to where the bone would snap so smoothly.

But thats the thing, It just doesn't seem possible unless he truly had a calcium deficiency, and considering he is an athlete the doctors that sign physicals should have caught that (I'm assuming they go further then basic physicals)
