Rendering and File Size

I feel as though, a lot of people have never used Movie Maker for compression.

If you've got large files, then run them through Movie Maker and play around with the rendering settings till you find a good balance between quality and file size.

I can take 30Gigs (30 Minutes) and turn it into 1.2Gigs at roughly 720p
So, please take some time to try and compress the videos for those who have to upload them.

I've got a very limited time frame for uploading and 1.2 gigs takes about 30mins - 60mins to upload.
I can't be uploading large numbers of videos each day if first I have to download them and then re-upload them all over, I just don't have the time for that kind of massive amount of work, and I don't think the other uploaders do either.

It's not hard to take 20 minutes and drop them to 800mbs

Play around with it, and try and find the settings that are right for you.
Just please for the love of god, unless one of the uploaders has a 5mbs upload speed, don't be throwing out HD super high def videos.

That's just needless file size

Guys stop trying to murder Tic's internet.

Luna started the rover's engine.  "AEIOU!" She shouted as she slammed the gas and crashed through the wall.

Well then, you're doing something really wrong and you'll have to look into it. Because I've never heard of something like that happening.

I try to open an AVI and the vid is black but sound plays, when i convert it to wmv I lose my mic being recorded.

Because of issues like this I think we all need to use the same recording programs. We should throw up a list of approved CG video recording software, Bandicam for example and then other programs that allow longer videos.
This whole thing is a travesty.

For starters, Pillz is obviously the sexiest.
