Zombie Master / Limit on Banshees?

Title.  I find that when a noob spawns 20 banshees all from one zombie spawn at once, it just ruins the game. 
As ZM, I personally never have more than 5 banshees alive at once, unless a trap creates them (like on diamondshaols or tetris_epic) and I win a lot of the time.   
I myself want banshee limiting, but maybe other people don't.

Inject has suggested we have a poll to see the community's thoughts, because as he says: "Banshees arn't really that hard to kill or dodge and are my favourite zombie. I have never actually lost a game to b spam minus having a bad team when it happens."

So its your chance to choose community, do you want banshee limiting?  Or am I just a cranky old guy

Serious shit here, the Protomen have constructed a couple albums, taking Megaman and making their own epic story out of the events alluded to in the game, not to mention these rock songs are fucking epic beyond reason.  Try to listen to any of these without rocking out, you might not succeed!  Here are my 3 favorites from the first album, the most intense ones in my opinion.

Hate if you want, but I saw these guys live when my friends band opened for them, and they are amazing in person, especially with props and costumes.

Death and I have revived the server, so fucking play on it!!!    Currently bugging people to get RTD added to it as well, remember gambling with your life is fun!

Do you have past admin experience: I've been an admin for ZPS since forever.  Way back on the SKG killhouse until SKG went away, then I owned the ZPS server for KAT/CG until it got taken down.  Now that it is back under Pillz I still admin when able but I'm pretty inactive. 
Years of experience.


Why you wish to be admin: Death and I are trying to get the ZM server going, because now (THANK YOU GOD!!!) there are real maps on it and it is such nostalgic fun.  The problem is what is left of the ZM community has many trolls etc, just today Death and I had a horrible micspammer just constantly screaming AAAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHH AAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHH over and over.  I want to be able to populate the server and at least moderate it a bit.  I don't have to be full admin just SOMETHING so I can help out.  (once again THANK YOU whoever put all the good maps on the server!!!!!!  )


What are some good qualities you possess: I always try to be an advocate of fairness (tonight I could have gotten into the bar to see my friends band for free because I knew them so the door guy let me in, but I paid the guy anyway cause its honest), and I have also spent a lot of time dealing with trolls and other varieties of shitheads (years of experience).  Also I actually really want to play ZM!!!

Additional Notes: As I mentioned previously, I don't have a ton of time to focus on ZM, I play a lot of other games and do a lot of things IRL.  But I love ZM because we played it a lot in the old days, and as far as I know, there's noone to admin on the ZM server.  Death suggested we put something in here to say hey, we want to help the server, maybe just some sort of moderation ability if not full admin?  We want to get the server up cause we love playing old games with friends.  I understand if it isn't full admin because I would only be playing 2-3 nights a week instead of every day, or only 1 or 2 if I have a particularly busy week. 

I just see a void here where so few people give fucks about ZM, but I do and I want to make it work when I can.  I JUST WANT TO HELP

CG Community Suggestions / Games with isssues in arcade (remove from award tracking?)

In the interest of fairness, I believe some of the games in the arcade should be exempt from awards/longest champions stats, etc.  I'm not saying the games should be removed, OR that people should lose their scores, but simply that if we are going to award people and have stats for best players, it should be fair, and not based on a broken system.

Babyshute - timed game where there is a maximum achievable score.  The problem is, each time the game is played, the maximum score is different.  Our current champion has a score of 364, whereas after I played a few times and each time getting as many points as I possibly could, only got 256.  I'm sure some will say I'm whining over being unable to beat it, but it just seems less of a game and more of a "get lucky" simulator.
Penguin hit the lottery getting his score, it just happened he got the one in a million time that the game had 364 available points.

Military snow - it appears that there is a maximum possible score, and as soon as someone reaches that score, it is IMPOSSIBLE for anyone else to become champion of that game.  Corey got 745, then later so did me, Old Crow, and pwn3d, so I'm pretty sure 745 is the max score and no one will ever be able to beat Corey who got it first, therefore his highscore will be the longest champion forever because the game only allows a score of up to 745.

Xmas Boarding - because this was only available for one month, Discord who had the last high score will never be defeated by anyone because no one can play the game to beat him, another game where the longest champion is because of the game, not because of actual competition. 
No one can beat that score until December 2013.

Funkypong - I discovered that if you push the go button just right and leave the mouse alone, it will perpetually bounce the ball until you move the mouse again, I walked away for hours came back and stopped it at exactly 5000.  That isn't a game, that is a "see how long you can leave your computer alone" simulator.  I also believe (but have no proof other than common sense) that this is the way oobla krolin and doctor got their scores as well.
 Again, because of the way the game is coded, it is possible to exploit it.

Avoider is not necessarily totally broken, just figured I should mention that sometimes all 3 shapes get stuck in the walls for a while so you get a lot of points for free because there is nothing to dodge.  It doesn't happen all that consistently but I have seen it happen.

There are a number of games that don;t have any instructions and it would be nice to have something on the page to tell you what to do, also some games like Triathlon when you click instructions, nothing happens.  So there are some other minor issues.

The best part is when I finally regain control a quarter mile above the ground like there's something I can do to save myself.  It wouldn't let me use the "become ethereal" shout to save my life while in midair.

So long story short my computer blew up sometime weeks ago (can prolly tell by whenever my last post was before this) but yeah finally got my new one all built its not totally epic but if i went to windows 7 instead of XP i could supposedly play crysis at 30 frames.

What did I miss?

edit: gonna be a bit before i'm back in game, i have a BUTT TON of stuff to reinstall.  and steam takes forever too.

Anyone know a good place to get a server for Obsidian Conflict?

I want to get one put up, something small like 5 slots and nothing fancy, probably gonna run the same map for a logn time as well.  I remember hearing they are dirt cheap (like 20 bucks for 6 months or something liek that)  I want an alternative to hosting one and having it become nonexistant when i exit.  Obviously UGS blows nuts from past experience, so suggestions?

No real good place to put this so I guess it goes here.  Sorry I have only been on 1-2 days a week, I'm just getting wrecked by life.  I'm working over 50 hours a week at my new job (shortly after they hired me 2 guys quit, so im busting ass with barely any training) and i just come home too exhausted to deal with people, it kinda sucks.  Maybe its depression or some bullshit but a lot of the time I just dont want to talk to anyone or anything, so I havent been playing those few hours im on the computer.  Fortunately during breaks i can use internet and so Im still doing my forums moderating and posting and stuff.

Also I still cant see home page and shoutbox WHICH REALLY SUCKS WTF I MISS THE SHOUTBOX.

Band's website is finally up, albeit with our old logo (just recently we decided on one thats less random) and only one of our demo recordings is currently on there, but we can has website so whee.  Internet music players have kinda shit quality but its better than nothing.  Currently we are a 4-piece (vocal, guitar, bass, drums) cover band out to make some money from our mad playing skills, cause playing originals was getting us nowhere.  Kinda selling out but hey if we get popular we can start making real music again

Zombie Panic: Source / Weird lag on the server

Doc and I were getting some really weird ping spikes on the server earlier, his ping (and latency) would go up over 500, then come back down a little bit later, then I would get one, and it would go back down, and sometimes we would get multiple ones after each other.  Penguin was also getting bad lag too but it might not have been the same thing.  Either way it needs to be checked out, because it doesnt seem to be just one persons computer having isues.
