Title: Infection Rate

The infection is currently and finally set to 20%, it turns out for a while the server only had a 10% infection rate due to some issue where I needed to add a cvar line into a sourcemod file for it to work properly.

Gustav feels it's now too high because people get infected so easily with a 1/5 chance of whitey's attacks infecting you; where it takes 3 hits without armor for the Whitey to kill a human. 33% makes 1 out of the 3 hits a possible infection where 10% makes every 1 in 10 hits a possible infection. Anything over 20% with me as Whitey just assures my victory as zombie while giving newer players a better chance to win, IMO.

I've played with 33% before and I felt even that is too high and don't like high infection rate servers; and don't think having a cure plugin is necessary unless the infection rate is 33%+.

So how do you like your infection rate? Should it stay at 20%? Should we lower it to 15% or 10%? Should it be made higher? Why?

Yeah, I get infected a little to often.

I say we go 15% and see how it is.

Make it 100% for anyone who camps a room for more than a minute and 50% Whenever you hold a magnum.

That way when Doc joins the server I'll volunteer to be whitey and wait several rounds to lower his guard. After several rounds of objective based maps, I'll RTV and get us onto Red Queen. After letting the humans complete the first two objectives. Doc and some of the other humans will begin to camp with their magnums as is expected.

Then when he thinks I'm AFK I'll strike hitting all of them while they have a 150% Infection rate. This advanced infection will instantly make them all whiteys and we will remove the remaining humans.

Thus everything will go according to plan.

I swear to god the infection rate for me is at least 75% Whenever Pillz hits me usually once, I'm always infected.

Well the severs been on 20% lately and I gotta say I'm not liking it, too often have i infected the entire team. So my votes for fifteen.
