I was gonna reccomend the build your own route but then I realized this is a laptop thread. Dunno anything about laptops, only that they have small screens and overheat.

um desktop?
Laptops = more expensive, less reliable, harder to upgrade.
I would reccomend a desktop, unless you have a good reason to get laptop.

go with a desktop... im stuck with a laptop and its a PoS that i spent 800$ on that after a year of use already has overheating problems, keys are stuck down due to the shit under them that normallys pushes em up not doing its job, Vid card is already going out due to overheating problems sooooo google CyberPower and make ur own build. When i get the money im getting me a beast 800$ laptop that will kick a 1.2k Alienware computer

Never, ever. EVER buy alienware.
You're 20% cash better off with custom build.

Alienware is, well, glorified Dell. Not what it used to be.
ASuS brand is the place to go for reliable laptops.
Make sure it has discreet graphics (ie not Intel graphics, AMD or Nvidia, though I do not recommend Nvidia, particularly their portable graphics chips (bad personal experiences)) and i3 or better equivalent processor.
