Post your Gaming setup! From posting your computer, to your desk, to your console hub; post it all here! Let's see those messy houses! There might of been another one but I can't find it and I assume it's dead and unsticked; even if it is stickied somewhere MINES THE NEW ONE. Here was my new desk and setup at the fiance's house after finally getting everything set up.  Got a TV, PS3, 17" display with two bigass ancient speakers on the side, webcam and my shitty tabletop mic and then my bootiful computer with a phantom terabyte inside. Subwoofer's connected to the speakers and my shoe is gray.

The infection is currently and finally set to 20%, it turns out for a while the server only had a 10% infection rate due to some issue where I needed to add a cvar line into a sourcemod file for it to work properly.
Gustav feels it's now too high because people get infected so easily with a 1/5 chance of whitey's attacks infecting you; where it takes 3 hits without armor for the Whitey to kill a human. 33% makes 1 out of the 3 hits a possible infection where 10% makes every 1 in 10 hits a possible infection. Anything over 20% with me as Whitey just assures my victory as zombie while giving newer players a better chance to win, IMO.
I've played with 33% before and I felt even that is too high and don't like high infection rate servers; and don't think having a cure plugin is necessary unless the infection rate is 33%+.
So how do you like your infection rate? Should it stay at 20%? Should we lower it to 15% or 10%? Should it be made higher? Why?

I have a metric asston of Demo files of fast paced fun ZPS gameplay I wish I could make into videos; but I only have 6-10GB of space at any given time so I can't really install fraps and record the videos. I have little to no experience making videos minus the one L4D video I made using Xfire and Windows movie maker; but I couldn't edit out parts of the video or the whole file would explode cause XFire's tupid.
So I'm begging for someone to either play a whole lot; and record some of the funner times when we have a fullish server, or compile a few demos of mine into a video we can put here on CG to help advertise ZPS. Many people have played with the server almost empty and I feel that's how everyone thinks of ZPS; and they think it's boring.
So anyone feel like helping me out? I could send a few demos after watching them and tell you which parts to use and you could record them in fraps for me; or someone could add me and come record when I invite them to play.
I really want to get more involvement with ZPS from the community before I start doing things like funnight and whatnot. Please halp?

So me and the fiance decided to move into her parents house instead of mine since her parents have a 3-story house and a bit mo money; so we'll be hanging here for some time. Right now we're working on getting internet set up for my computer since it has no wireless card and we need to buy one or get a longass wire; and it might be a few days before I'm really back to gaming.
After doing speedtests on grace's laptop next to the modem I can only get like 0.60-2.00Mbps download and 2.00-4.00mbps upload, and I don't think my connection would improve much on that even if I was wired into the modem. So we're probably going to see if her dad will up the ante on the internet speeds and I should have internet in general by the end of today if I'm lucky.
ALL THAT ASIDE; I might be on even less in general, but I'll dedicate my playing time to ZPS when I can instead of Minecraft and Pokemon like I have been doing. The annoying Invalid SteamID problem shouldn't happen to me anymore hypothetically since I don't have two other people on steam in the house, unless grace gets her laptop fixed and then we'll both be playing! That or I get my life together, get a job and have even less time for CG; but I doubt that'll ever happen. I'm going to really cut back or completely stop smokindaganja, hopefully; so if I seem different that's why.
So I'll close this thread when I'm back and ready for action; I really should of made an away thread a month or two ago when I slowly fell off the face of ZPS. Either way I can check forums still with this laptop so I'll be around. Luv u guiese <3

It's been like this for quite some time now. If I make my window smaller; they all drop down like logout and donations does. Trying to click on the links I speak of simply highlights the whole navigational bar so meh. I was wondering if we could somehow fix this; because I am used to using those links to navigate quicker. Was it intentional?

Basically you build an arena and try to make the other person fall by breaking the blocks beneath their feet. Last one standing wins, this can be done with teams or 1v1.

It was originally Kojima's attempt to connect MGS2 and MGS4 and explain what happened to Raiden but he scrapped the project and let Platnium games complete the game. The next entry in the MGS series is also in development, it takes place after the Peace Walker PSP entry; yet it will be arriving on PS3 and Xbox360. So I moved my room around today because the girlfriend just wasn't digging it in it's current state. Now after the computers been moved around to another room twice and then back here to be hooked up again, I've encountered some issues.
The computer took almost double the time to start, which usually takes 20-40 seconds. After I logged in, the password screen SLOWLY faded away and every other window that appears or disappears does so at the slowest possible rate. Youtube videos seem to play like normal but the words I am typing now hardly keep up with the pace I'm typing at. The  which is usualy moving at high speeds now takes 3 seconds to complete one head bob, and basically everything is really fucking slow for some reason.
All I did was unplug my computer, and move it around carefully. Even if someone drop kicked it while I wasn't looking, what the hell could of happened to cause everything to lag like this? Minecraft says it's running at 70-91 FPS when I play it and like I said Youtube videos still look fine but it takes 4 seconds for any window to close or minimize and this is going to drive me insane.
I would google it but you can imagine the help I'd get from googling "My computer is really slow now, what do I do?"
Perhaps there was an update for adobe or windows and.. I don't know at all. Please help? D:Took computer apart and re-assembled it, almost everything works fine now. Now using thread to discuss broken HDD

It will have 1TB of space for you, between 4 and 8 gigabytes of DDR3 RAM, a quad-core 64-bit x86-based 32nm processor running at up to 3.2GHz (with 4MB of Level2 Cache), an integrated graphics card containing up to 384 programmable cores and then of course you have the four USB2.0 ports and so on. Apparently the motherboard will be virtually available along with other things I'm sure that help save space on the system. Gabe even talked about desires to incorporate Gazetracking technology and other "futuretech" into the Piston, oh and the pistons colors will be fully customizable. Systems with similar technology run about 1000$-1500$ but I really don't think Steam will sell this for more than 600$ or they know they'll have a relatively small market. There's also word that Steam's working on a portable device called "LittleFoot". The Steambox should be out by the end of this year for public purchase.

Nintendo Direct discusses the history of Pokemon and the announcement of their upcoming pokemon title that features fully 3D pokemon battles. Only for Nintendo3DS and it's due out this October. Skip to 7:15 for the trailer that includes game footage. Here are the new starters, I'm on team firefox. If I ever get a 3DS I guess.
