Title: Netflix recommendations
Post by: Pillz on December 24, 2013, 04:03:54 AM
I'm going to take a stab in the dark here and guess a lot of you have Netflix, right? Regardless we can also talk about recent TV shows or Movies here in the same fashion.

This will be a thread where if we can share and talk about good finds on Netflix. Everyone who watches something they really liked, they can post about it here, and rate it if you'd like to. Be sure to use spoilers if necessary and give a brief description of why you're suggesting it or why you enjoyed it. Or you can just comment on someone else's post too.

Title: Bo Burnham: what. (Not Rated/Explicit)

Genre: Stand Up

Description: There's a lot of good Stand up on Netflix, and they just added Bo Burnhams newest special after removing one of his older ones recently. I posted something in it the shoutbox one day, but I just watched it again since I missed the end when I first saw it. He used to be on youtube and I used to love his songs, and it's so cool seeing him on stage now. He's always written the funniest music and his stand up is even more amazing. He's fucking hilarious, and if you haven't seen it yet go watch it.

I felt that video was good and it had a good plot aswell but it is kinda gruesome. Ok I watched the X files, Eureka, Lost, Supernatural, Walking dead, undercover boss, family guy, futurama, king of the hill, Simpsons, Cleveland show, American horror story, archer, bobs burger, extreme cheapskate, Code Monkeyz, The Guild, Arrested Development, Law and Order, Happy Tree Friends, Bones, Cake Boss, VGHS, Goosebumps, Doomsday Bunker, Total Drama etc, Doctor Who, Kitchen Nightmares, Being Human,The L word,I shouldnt be alive, duel survival, And a bunch more. I spend a lot of time watching videos on my spare time and i stay up for a long time. The most sleep i get in a day is about 4-5 hours depending.

If i had to recommend one try the Colony, Eureka, or Bones.

Yeah that wasn't bad but it was a bit slow as most Netflix shows are. They should really be 30 min episodes. They really like to stretch that shit into an hour. I hate slow shit. So much unnecessary bull shit filler. Netflix is great in premis but it's just got way to little content. Or Rather way to little good content. I can't honestly justify paying 10 bucks a month for that damn service because of that. Also the interface is so fucking awful.

Yah and how bout that new rating system. Well, apparently the stars were always a 'best match for you' feature as well, and they changed it so people stopped thinking they were contributing to a user-based rating system for shows.

Really hype about Castlevania right now though- fucking four episodes though.. I need 400. The art style was nice, the story moved along nicely in the first episode, but the second and third episode could have easily been compressed into one episode- but hey. Stranger things was great though, I really did enjoy every last minute of every episode. I'm that guy who enjoys most everything though, yet I refuse to watch anything new 90% of the time.

BoJack season 4 coming in September, been rewatching that. Really thought I'd hate it for the art style when it came out, and it's one of my favorites.

It's not on netflix but watch. WestWorld. It's a bit slow in the first 3 episode *very slow by my standards* but damn it's good if you finish it.
