This year's steam summer sales

So as the summer sales ended today, I couldn't help but feel a wee bit of disappointment for this year's selection. Don't get me wrong, it definitely had its moments. But I feel it fell short of last year. Anyone else feel the same? Opinions?

A lot of people are saying the same thing. And I agree. It was the worst summer sale yet. Which isn't saying it's terrible, just the worst of all of them so far.

The others were SO Much better. But yeah this year it kinda fell flat. It felt to me like something went wrong and it got rushed out into this format. Very odd actually. I expected more challenges.

yea it could've been a lot better, but i spent it all on a bunch of older games like Rome Total War just for the Nostalgia feeling  Meme6

The sales were really that bad..? (Seeing as my first year of having a debit card and money to waste during a sale.)
