As my first day of admin, the first thing I found was that the admin messages I receive are the same color as the connected/disconnected text. This makes noticing messages really hard, changing the color would make it a lot easier to do admin work.

Isn't it possible to filter out disconnect/connecting text? I'm not entirely sure... and that might also filter admin chat.
