Loving the optimism
I'll be honest as to why this won't work out.
As a whole CG works out "Pretty" well, but individually there's a lot of fighting between people.
There are people who I know don't like me, and for a reasonable part, I don't like them. This can be said for roughly 80% of the community and we usually stick to our respective games and avoid conflict with one another.
However, when you volunteer for something like "Game Night" you're making a commitment to play which ever game comes up, with whoever else signed up. This means there's a large chance you could be signing up to play a game with someone who either doesn't like you, or you don't like.
This will lead to fights in most games, especially ones that require Co-op. It's also become more aggressive if you happen to be playing a "Versus" game against someone you don't like.
It is a nice concept, but in the grand scheme of things it'll eventually devolve into fighting.
Why can't we be friends.
And I'm good

It's an attitude like
that that would devolve a game night into fighting.
Anyway, sign me up. I'm down4vidya

So this is what I suggest we do gentlemen
1. Join the official CG group. This is where all the messages will come from. Link:http://steamcommunity.com/groups/conjointgaminggroup
2. We will come up with a schedule within the next two or three days. Lets not set any kind of hard schedule, but I will merely announce through the CG group when we will be playing whatever games we want to play. Now what I mean by schedule is:
-A good time for everybody. I suggest 0000 Zulu (Thats 2000/8PM EST). If that doesn't work for the majority, I would set it an hour later
- What days we want to play certain games or what games we want to play. Either something like L4D2 monday, TTT Tuesday etc or a rotation of sorts. Obviously we can be pretty flexible with that as well, and try new games.
- I suggest Vent will be the best way to communicate. I know some of you don't like it but CG pays for it, and increase traffic for Vent will be good for CG
Thoughts?

I'll play. The idea sounds good, as long as like Crow said, there isn't a hard/strict schedule. Other people do have points as to why this may not work but who knows. It'll bring the community together more (other than by the forums) because other people will be playing other games (with others of the community) more than they usually might.

If this is the set time for every time we play, then I'm out of this, because I'm not going to wait/get up at 2 AM to play with you guys.

Like I said it can be flexible, but just understand that most of us aren't around to play during a time that would be good for European. I say most, but there should be enough people around to even set up two times a day so that everybody can play. The beauty of this is nothing should be set in stone, except for Vent and It going through the official CG page.

I don't have CSS or L4D2 but sure...
Basically I won't be playing TTT either since I don't have most of the maps =P and the weapons are error messages. Maybe if I ever buy CSS I'll play though.

Get a good server up for it; It's much more fun if the server was stable.
Plus I don't think Tic could handle more than five players. Six on a good day :I
