Be active on the forums, get on vent and chat it up with the members until they get to know you better, play a lot on the server, be friendly, and show that you are mature and responsible enough to handle being an admin.  Do all of that and you're a shoo-in.
Of course, I am withholding my vote until I know this guy better.  Good luck tank!
