Post by: Leetgrain on October 08, 2012, 07:03:31 PM: Hey guys, making a RUSHED post, but I'm making a TTT map that looks fantastic at the moment - no details or even a name yet, but fuck it, I NEED TO MAKE SOMETHING NOW SO HERE IT IS.

Yeah, forgot about that area, would be nice to move it but I just can't be arsed to move right now (Lazy to do it, and I'm busy making the map x)

To be honest, I think I like the textures like that, but in any case this is Pre-Alpha, so if there are suitable textures they will be placed much later into development.

As I said I only started making this last night, out of one of my spikes (I say spikes, I normally get streaks where I NEED to do something creative) and I made this, I don't want to plan - I just want to let it flow, but there most definitely will be traps, testers and T rooms, I think I may add something I've been thinking of for a while... I won't let on, but I think it will work very well.

I had to scroll down a very long time, just to scroll over the see the middle of the pictures then had to scroll all the way back up to see them again.

A vid would be easier as well.

It is, they only reflect drawn models (Ones you yourself can see) so you can see others, but not yourself - unless you're in third person.

But this should not be noticeable at all as it's placed in such a way so as to not show the players.

However, I think you need to adjust the CG label one.

Just keep the CG logo and place only the web address directly below it. No need to have both tags on top of each other.

Other than that keep it going it is looking great.

Would be great to see some different maps on the server, of course at the moment the rotation is really just whatever the admin picks when they're online, but when we have votemap menu again I'd love to see this map on there.

I am still working on this, albeit VERY slowly, I might need a hand with the mapping because I don't really work on it often... AND SOURCE IS BEING A BISH.

I may have new videos/images soon on how it's going, but until then I'll keep fiddling away at this.

We would rarely play on it...cause everyone votes rooftops/67th/island/losttemple/crummy/repeat

Shit If I knew how to make maps I would just have a big ass fucking open square room...at least it wouldn't be one of the above maps.

But yeah I always enjoy a little change of scenery and the best feedback you can get is from actual experience playing the map.

and you know us CGers...
