We've just submitted a small patch to fix some long standing issues in ZPS, you guys will start to see more patches in the near future

=====2.2.1 (02-27-2012) =====

+ Fixed Infected Bug.

+ Fixed some cases of BunnyHop.

+ Fixed joingame exploit.

+ Added filter support for game_zone_player

Update your servers and clients and enjoy!

Infected bug was a bug where infected players could become invulnerable before and after turning.
BunnyHop bug was where some players could jump multiple times and move faster than they should be able to.
Joingame exploit was a command that could be used to decrease zombie to 0 easily and fast, letting some players control when the round should end.

I felt that those fixes were required to be released sooner.

Bunnyhopping is fixed. No idea what you mean by "and btw bunny hoping is still there in all ways to do it".
Jumping lot of times to avoid bullets is not bunnyhopping.
Lunge-jumping is not bunnyhopping.
If you jump enough times you will get slowed down, but that's only when you jump too fast and don't give yourself a second to walk.
Using sloped objects to give yourself a boost off of could somewhat be considered bunnyhopping. But I would call it 'boosting' instead of 'bunnyhopping' so more people don't become confused about what bunnyhopping is. Regardless, I don't think there is anything we can do to fix boosting. I addressed the issue with the developers during PT, but I don't remember what their thoughts on it was.

TL;DR
No more bunnyhopping, invuln infecteds, and joingame exploits. WOOT WOOTAMUS

EDIT:
Server is updated!

Well I believe that was more of an "idea" for the game a dev suggested. I was reading around on the ZPS forums and people were complaining about that and other "promised" updates, and the devs basically said some ideas are good ones but get scrapped for this reason or another, and Frika said that's why it was better to keep it a secret till it's out.

They are working on another update, they just wanted to get this one out to fix some "bugs". I thought they had done that shit on purpose and was rather confused but it's nice to have the game back to almost perfect condition.

Perhaps they will do achievements next update.. but either way I'd say we could expect that late this summer or this fall. Any later and I'm mad bro.

Yeah, it is, and there's a new ZPS modeler so we might have some new guns/models/props next update! How much they're talking about it makes me excited. CANT WAIT FOR NEXT UPDATE :D

Oh yeah, and since they fixed BHOP, airaccelerate's been changed so maps where you have to drop in windows from roofs, are broken. Well, that just means no cabin/lake maps until they get fixed. Not like that's a bad thing.
