I think he was focusing more on the release date part.

Valve has never been known for keeping any release dates, so who really knows if it really will be then?  I'm excited as hell about Portal 2, but I've been burned by Valve release dates for so long I no longer believe them.
Actually it's a little more fun this way because it's more like a unexpected present when a Valve game is released.

I read somewhere it was due out at the end of this year, if they pushed it to February then yeah, that's news to me. But I've known about Portal2 ever since Valve snuck that new achievement into Portal and added the altered ending.

Yeah that was like a week before I got my issue of GI with portal 2 in it, proving that it would exist.

and yeah a few weeks back (maybe even a month) they announced it was delayed from the end of this year to being released sometime in 2011.  LAME

Portal was overrated IMO. I'm still getting it for PS3 though.

Well with portal all the hype was created AFTER it came out, and it is still a great game at heart.  Only reason it doesn't deserve 100% of the hype is its short length.
