Get a good server up for it; It's much more fun if the server was stable.

Plus I don't think Tic could handle more than five players. Six on a good day :I

Sign me up for this. My only objection is that I have an irrational hate for Vent, but other than that it sounds like a blast

Why would I want to have to listen to everyone else who feels like joining the channel in Vent when I can do Steam group chat with just my friends who are in the game I'm playing.

Because steam group chat is WORSE.

Vent is good if you have your own room, but if you're getting around with a few friends for a fun game you might as well just use something like Skype, it's not that great but it's better than steam, and less trollable than vent.

I don't remember anything about teamspeak though.

Vent is definitely crap, although there are worse options. Teamspeak, raidcall, and mumble are all better alternatives.

2. Vent is a requirement. It is what we will use to communicate in game. I know a few absolutely hate it so this is subject to change.
3. All other CG rules apply, such as racism, sexism etc. This goes double for personal attacks. This is suppose to be a fun time to play with your fellow CG'ers

Or if you just don't want to go into vent, you can type in-game as the games we are playing have chat. People may not pay as much attention if you do this though.

I'm out, Vent is the most annoying thing when all the games are First Person Shooters and I don't have any buttons to assign because i'm USING everything. I have no issues with steam or even in-game voice, but vent is a pain.

Honestly, a steam voice chat works best imo.

...plus I'm not planning on using a mic. Anytime soon.
