Hello there, I'd like to say two things: One, to ask to be considered for a promotion, and the second, an application to help out with any server that would like me to help out (Head admins should say whether they would like me to). I know this is breaking the norm by a long mile, but please read and consider everything below.

Hey there, I'd like to be considered for a promotion, as I've been here for a LONG time, helping out on the TTT/VSH servers as much as possible - although I haven't been well enough to cope recently, I'd like to ask for a promotion to reg/vet, because as above, I have been here for quite a long time, and have been admin for almost as long (Albeit, twice resigned). And I think I'm long due for one.
It would also help me with the below application, to help out with all servers, I'd like to spread out wide with the servers I help on so that I don't get tired of one and just lose interest, I'd like to help out with the communities servers as much as possible, and this would be good for existing admins, to alleviate some of the pressure, and me, so that I can enjoy and play on our many servers, while keeping problems to a minimum.

Why you wish to be admin: Because I'd like to help out across all of CG's server with no quotas or the likes, as it would help with anyone that needs it across all servers, alleviating a lot off of other admins, and allowing me to help out without any major stress (and stress is the one major thing I do not want right now).

Additional notes: Know this may be seen as a bit unfair to other admins, and I don't know what to say about that. But I'd like to help out with other servers, be it even just kicking, muting, gagging - the basics, I'd just like to spread out and help whenever I'm needed, basically.
Know this is not really the best way of enquiring about both, but it is the easiest and most efficient way to do so, as the head admins and CL's will see this on the forum much quicker.
What do I mean by that? I mean instead of having just one, static announcement (Picture, text at the bottom), for there to be a flash board with lots of different announcements, that each of the HA's and GM's help and keep running with updates on their servers, or anything going on on the servers (one bulletin per server, with whatever updates they want to add to it). It should resize with the browser, should look clean, and should fit in with the aesthetic of the server.
If you're totally confused by what I mean, I mean something like on the Steam store page - the box with a side scrolling bar, that has many different games that are on offer or are new. I think something like that would be great. But centered around our different servers, most recent topics, giveaways, events, etc.
Sorry for being so vague, really busy atm. But if you want me to clear anything up I'll be able to.
#1 - Source SDK - I need help getting it even working again, it looks like it starts to load (Preparing to launch...) and then just closes, nothing else. And when it does work, I get an error message when trying to access or create any map (Error is: "Failed to load the default scheme file. The map views may be missing some visual elements"), and crashes right after. No bloody clue what's up with it. And just FYI, I am not going to do a total reinstall of it or source games, I have A LOT of work that I can't back up anymore or move, and I am not going to lose them.
#2 - GCFSCAPE - No idea what's up, but whenever I try to extract anything, pops up with this error, even with steam off: Error writing REDACTED (Error: Unexpected end of GCF stream (0 B of 39192 B). Has the GCF file been completely acquired?)
#3 - Steam - When I try to play Source games (any below L4D's engine), I get the error message: SteamStartup() failed: SteamStartup(0xf,0x0012EF64) failed with error 1: The registry is in use by another process, timeout expired . And I have no clue what to do, done quite a lot to try and stop it from doing it, nothing I've tried works - well, it works once every time steam is restarted, then continues to fail. I don't know if there actually is another registry in use, and I'd rather not mess around with the registry.
Importance level(low,medium,high): High, I need to get this sorted, was making a lot of things.
