What are your favorite old movies and books?
By Old i mean before 1995.

My Fav Movies are:
Nightmare Before Christmas
Nospheratu
Dracula
Oz
Santa Vs The Martians
Night of The living Dead
All Quiet on the western front, and

My fav books are:
Howls moving castle (it was originaly a book, not an anime.)
Dracula
Lotr
Frankenstien
Wolf Man
Silver Bullet
Anything by edgar allen poe
Crucible
Call Of Cthulhu
Necronomicon
The other gods,
and about 40 other lovecaft books.

Um. Why 1995?  Why is that date the point of demarcation?

Because 95 is the latest you can get in the time of books and movies without it being new or newish. It also means that the books and movies have to be older then 90% of CG. If you know a better way to fraze it tell me and ill update OP.

I enjoyed 1984 (Book & Movie) if that counts as old.

Insomnia, by Stephen King
Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy, by Douglas Adams

I haven't read books that much but, one day I will read more books.
