   1.

      The sum of 3 consecutive odd numbers is 39.
   2.

      The Perimeter of a rectangle is 600. The length of the rectangle is 2 more than 3 times the width.
   3.

      Mrs. Gardner went to the market. She purchased some lettuce heads and some tomatoes. There were 12 items purchased. She bought twice as many tomatoes as lettuce heads.
   4.

      3 times the first of three consecutive numbers is 4 more than 2 times the second.








1. Read the examples in the lesson and work them out on paper. Pay particular attention to the steps and the corresponding algebraic properties.

2. Work the following problems in a Word document. Be sure to show each step for solving the equations. Showing the work is required for this assignment. Please work hard to understand each problem and contact your instructor if you are having trouble with the material. Copy and paste your work in the Assignment area for "Project 01.08."

   1.

      5x + 1 = 21
   2.

      2x = 5x -12
   3.

      4 - (2x - 9)= -19
   4.

      -3(2x + 1) = 2(x - 2)
   5.

      -6x + 3 - 2x = 3 - 8x
   6.

   7.





anyone want to help ? i know some ppl are good at math i suck massive dick and i have to do 4 assignments tonight or i fail again lol

      11+13+15=39

numeric equation(s)
1. x=4
