Found these while scrubbing data from an old drive. Folder inside a folder inside a folder. http://imgur.com/a/c6PJSWe were hours brainstorming with my cousin, back in what, 2011, 2012? I can't even remember. Finally came up with this design. We drew it, scanned it and Photoshop the rest. Not a work of art, I agree, but good times, CG.

What I find so deeply aggravating is the seemingly obvious scenario at hand. Russia is absolutely dependent on European trade, Europe is not absolutely dependent on Russian trade. It frustrates me to no end that a joint Western resolution is not being made. Every second of stuttering and indecision only serves to further embolden Putin's already maniacal delusions of self grandeur. The whole thing should never have turned into the tried and tired game of "let's see how high the blood can rise without staining our shoes"...

Blowing up a plane full of civilians from different nationalities is bound to draw the International community into what was otherwise a pretty local conflict. What I find myself wondering is just how much Europe will take matters into its own hands...Will it continue with its current policy of mild political rebuke, with no real sanctions on the horizon? Is Europe truly that dependent on Russian gas exports?

I remember, way back in the day, when myself and a bunch of other administrators in forum changed our signatures and profile pictures to motifs involving the Grammar Nazi Squad. It was all a joke (and an abused one at that), aimed at the ever increasing levels of shitty grammar in CG.
A fair share of players thought the joke at hand was in poor taste and raised Hell about it. The signatures and profiles were deleted and the whole thing faded into oblivion, eventually. The little fun we had wasn't worth the backlash we got. It was childish, it was immature. Mostly, however, it was done in the wrong place, in the wrong way.
While I may have a personal opinion on the use of satire and humor when it comes to sensitive subjects, the obvious and rather blatant fact is that, as an Admin, you are expected to embody everything a good player should be. At the very least, you're expected to avoid callous displays of sexism, homophobia, xenophobia, racism, trans-phobia, and in this case, antisemitism. There are few things more callous than naming yourself after the man responsible for the brutal slaughter of millions. If you are unable to understand this very simple fact, they I urge you to re-consider your application. I'm surprised you didn't change your name prior to applying. If I were still involved in administrating CG, I wouldn't let you play on the server as a player with that name, much less grant you adminship.

Because having an admin called Adolf Hitler is just a stupendous idea.
Why in the name of Sagan is that name even allowed in game, much less in forums? I know CG doesn't have a wonderful track record for political correctness, but this is just shitting on the few lines that were established.

Tidy. Tidy is good. Locking, moving and properly archiving threads is an inevitable part of the GM role, one that sadly goes all too often ignored. It's boring as Hell, but it's necessary to keep important boards, like Admin Apps, Bans/Unbans and Abuse clutter free.

Sorry I bailed on you guys. Some stuff in IRL. Won't get into details. Really rough patch. Had to leave and didn't have the heart or peace of mind to elaborate.
So now I'm back. Back-ish. I can never stay away from CG for too long. It's a love-"sodonewiththisshit" relationship. So yeah.
