He needs to drink more milk, lol

No, seriously. A lack of calcium makes for weak bones -- especially for a man that puts a LOT of stress on his legs on what I would assume is a daily basis. His leg finally said, "fuck it".

That's the only valid explanation I could ever fathom. The impact wasn't too hard, and the landing trajectory wasn't even that obscure to where the bone would snap so smoothly.

But thats the thing, It just doesn't seem possible unless he truly had a calcium deficiency, and considering he is an athlete the doctors that sign physicals should have caught that (I'm assuming they go further then basic physicals)

Anyways I saw this live too, that's so nasty. I just saw a picture on Facebook earlier where a good inch or so of bone was sticking out of his knee.  Its going to take a good chunk of time before he can play basketball again.

Maybe Duke paid off the doctors to give his physical an A-OK.

(I'm stretching it by this point but I honestly have no idea.)

Duke sucks.  That injury is a life changer.  No more basketball for him.  He will be lucky to walk without a limp.

I hate it for him.

Ouch! Horrible injury, he look a little skinny so probably that's why his leg just gave weigh like that. Hope this guy gets better, and btw the benches reaction lol.

Surprisingly enough he will probably be able to play again in a year. A couple of sports med people said this isn't too bad, but it happens to soccer players more often.

Very nasty. It was amazing though, because he continually said "Win the game" over and over. Very heroic, gave Louisville more to play for - they're definitely going to win in Atlanta this year. College Basketball has got to be one of my favorite sports.
