UN Veto
« on: February 08, 2012, 06:40:52 PM »
It has been a couple of days since it happened but what do you gentlemen/ladies think about the veto by Russia and China for the resolution about Syria?

I mean come on the Russians are selling weapons to Syria, which is probably the sole reason that they decided to use their veto, that and being scared the same thing (though highly unlikely) could happen to them. China more then likely has the same feelings on the matter, since the Chinese government solely exists to just make sure that communism stays put and democracy never happens any time soon.

Its quite ridiculous that everybody else has to sit here while the civilians of Syria get bombed to hell. Being American I know I don't have room to talk *cough Iraq cough* but even the Arab league wants nothing to do with Syria and wants Assad gone, it just sucks to sit and watch as this happens.

They did not want the precedent set.  So it could not be used against them, in the future, if they have to crack down on their population...

Russia's private industry sells weapons to the Syrian rebels but that doesn't necessarily mean that the government is involved. Also you must take into consideration that there are many reason why they would veto the condemn the violence in Syria act. I suspect that oil is a factor.
Does this look like a ball field to you sucka? This is a sandbox. For making sandcastles.

The plunger could simply be out of view, the pants + it's location behind the toilet may hide it... Or it's a fraud and we need to take down the system with out golden axes while destroying the rest of the demon-spawn so that we may live in a utopia.
