Way Off Topic Box / Re: Which D&D Character Are You?
« on: January 04, 2014, 06:20:55 AM »
You Are A:

True Neutral Human Ranger (4th Level)

Ability Scores:
Strength- 13
Dexterity- 12
Constitution- 14
Intelligence- 16
Wisdom- 15
Charisma- 13

Spoiler for Hidden:
Alignment:
True Neutral- A true neutral character does what seems to be a good idea. He doesn't feel strongly one way or the other when it comes to good vs. evil or law vs. chaos. Most true neutral characters exhibit a lack of conviction or bias rather than a commitment to neutrality. Such a character thinks of good as better than evil after all, he would rather have good neighbors and rulers than evil ones. Still, he's not personally committed to upholding good in any abstract or universal way. Some true neutral characters, on the other hand, commit themselves philosophically to neutrality. They see good, evil, law, and chaos as prejudices and dangerous extremes. They advocate the middle way of neutrality as the best, most balanced road in the long run. True neutral is the best alignment you can be because it means you act naturally, without prejudice or compulsion. However, true neutral can be a dangerous alignment when it represents apathy, indifference, and a lack of conviction.

Race:
Humans are the most adaptable of the common races. Short generations and a penchant for migration and conquest have made them physically diverse as well. Humans are often unorthodox in their dress, sporting unusual hairstyles, fanciful clothes, tattoos, and the like.

Class:
Rangers- Rangers are skilled stalkers and hunters who make their home in the woods. Their martial skill is nearly the equal of the fighter, but they lack the latter's dedication to the craft of fighting. Instead, the ranger focuses his skills and training on a specific enemy a type of creature he bears a vengeful grudge against and hunts above all others. Rangers often accept the role of protector, aiding those who live in or travel through the woods. His skills allow him to move quietly and stick to the shadows, especially in natural settings, and he also has special knowledge of certain types of creatures. Finally, an experienced ranger has such a tie to nature that he can actually draw on natural power to cast divine spells, much as a druid does, and like a druid he is often accompanied by animal companions. A ranger's Wisdom score should be high, as this determines the maximum spell level that he can cast.

I was going to mention on this. Their is a difference between having 4 years of experience then having only 1 month. It is also common courtesy that if you burn something then you should more then likely remake it in MC Donald's. Also if you make a person's food burnt and then you server it and they get hurt because of such mistake then you will more then likely cause the business to get sued. 4 years is a huge difference then 1 month. In 4 years time you should know how to make the food, you should know how not to server food that is not within standards. If you are in that lazy shape that you will knowingly give out the burger anyways then it is right for the Manager to fire you. We are trying to keep a high level of expectation with everyone. Hopefully not any Half***ed work. like you said earlier that no one needs to hold your hands, if you know you did it then you should know that it is going to have consequences.

The thing is, I do know the rules. That's not the problem here. I never broke any rules on purpose. Most of the things I did are in the "gray zone" ie. not really breaking rules but people might not like it, etc. And no one ever told me that I had complaints against me. Uh.. In analogy form: I do know how to make the burger, in this case. But I added on seasonings that some people liked -- and others didn't like. And the people that didn't like the seasonings never told me. Instead of telling me they don't like seasoning on their burgers, they stockpiled them for months and then dumped them on my head out of nowhere..

As it has already been said: MOST of this evidence is about 6 months old. I didn't break any major rules. They were minor offenses that have been tallied up that I didn't know about, or everyone seemed okay with it at the time, so I wasn't putting too much thought into it. But now that it has /finally/ been brought to my attention, I can change what I did wrong and apologize for the wrongs I've done to those people.
The Moral of the Burger story is *Don't Add Seasonings* it might cause problems. A ton of different factors come into play. Maybe one day when serving you end up causing a person to have an allergic reaction because of a seasoning that was added. Something that was made to be what it was suppose to be but then altered without anyone knowing. This can cause problems then end up in the predicament that you are currently in. Also it would be funny to see 6 months worth of burgers getting dumped on someone.

I'm not asking to have my hand held. Let me try to make an analogy for what I mean. If you work at McDonalds and you burn a burger, the manager isn't going to hold your hand and teach you how to cook one properly. He's not going to immediately fire you, either. He's going to tell you not to burn the burgers again. That's what I'm trying to say. I've burned a few burgers, and everyone ate them without complaining. I thought the burgers were cooked just fine, but the whole time they've been crispy, and no one told me. Instead, what the manager did was take a picture of every burger that I've burned, and then at the end of the month, showed them all to me and fired me. It would have been a lot easier if he just told me I was doing wrong the first time, and then it would have all been fixed.

Also talking about MC Donald's got me Hungry. Laterz XP

no one, and I mean NO ONE told me about ANY of this prior to this thread. How am I supposed to know that what I'm doing is bad if no one tells me?

That is complete bullshit. When I was playing on the map with all the toys and stuff, (where you're tiny and shit) I told you about the rdm you did to me, Ralph, and I think Scooby did as well. So don't make bullshit excuses and try and get out of this.

What? What are you even talking about? Do you have some sort of grudge against me? I don't even know you - I've played with you maybe once or twice, and whatever I did to you, it apparently isn't as bad as you're making it out to be, since you never reported it or, idunno, brought it up with be in PMs on steam or on the forums. I may have RDMed you once or twice - I can't really recall, but are you meaning to tell me I didn't slay myself after? We might have a miscommunication here. Maybe you felt that you were RDMed, and I felt it was justified, or something. I don't know. But I'm not here to make your game any less fun, so I apologize, but attacking me and accusing me of lying isn't nice. I have no reason to lie on the internet - especially not on CG, where I've devoted over four years of my life to.

---
EDIT:

You're an admin Billy and should know the rules.  Not to mention actually enforce them.  A lot of the above came from other admins who went undercover.

Yes, I do know the rules, and yes - I do enforce them. What does that have to do with anything?
Wait a Second, 4 Years and yet you still troll, rdm, and break rulez. WOW. also You enforcing the rules has basically everything to do with you, and everything that has been here. But, 4 years should mean that you will not rdm, or any other type of bannable offense that you have. From some of these they are quite recent. So either you had amnesia for the past 4 years or something.

Oldboy is a really good movie that everyone should watch.
I felt that video was good and it had a good plot aswell but it is kinda gruesome. Ok I watched the X files, Eureka, Lost, Supernatural, Walking dead, undercover boss, family guy, futurama, king of the hill, Simpsons, Cleveland show, American horror story, archer, bobs burger, extreme cheapskate, Code Monkeyz, The Guild, Arrested Development, Law and Order, Happy Tree Friends, Bones, Cake Boss, VGHS, Goosebumps, Doomsday Bunker, Total Drama etc, Doctor Who, Kitchen Nightmares, Being Human,The L word,I shouldnt be alive, duel survival, And a bunch more. I spend a lot of time watching videos on my spare time and i stay up for a long time. The most sleep i get in a day is about 4-5 hours depending.

If i had to recommend one try the Colony, Eureka, or Bones.

Alright, 2 months seems reasonable. I've trust your judgement over these years and you've never been wrong.
I've always had my doubts about him for admin, but there are no better, or other candidates.

Good Luck Smiley, Hope to play zps with you, preferably not a deathrun map.
It is because dox can't use his haxor powerz. Also I agree with the 2 month wait period, it will give us time and not make it ridiculously long wait time. ZPS doesn't really have a lot of admins like TTT. XP

Well if the goal is to have fun, then play the crazy maps with the items on like the game was designed for :P
The game was designed for Items on and Off, flat stages and crazy stages, the same characters or different characters. Your telling people the way they play is wrong when the game purposefully has it so anyone can play the way they wan't to.
Except you guys use a Mod that allows the game to be changed. Thus not being played the way the game is intended. XP

IDK... A CG lets play video channel sounds fun and all, but there isn't much originality or thought involved. We need to have some bit involved, or something that makes us different from the thousands of minecraft and TTT machinima series made by uninspired 13 year old kids who watch pewdiepie and scream "I WAN DO DART TO". What I like about spellbound's portfolio is that he took a regularly mundane idea (Recordings of BF3) and injected humor and originality into it. CG should do this instead of dubbing teamspeak conversations over game play. If you do plan on doing voiceovers invest in a Condenser Microphone with a pop filter. This doesn't come with the pop filter but its a start

(here's a separate pop filter)

This way, you guys don't need to record sub par mic quality recordings with your headsets through a source game. Whatever you do, please don't record voice overs with a headset. please. plz. plox.

I do all my recording through my headset and it comes out fine, besides I've already shelled out the roughly 40$ for Fraps and another 120$ on my headset, I have no intentions of dropping another roughly 100$ on another Mic.
I have you beat. XP    I blue shelled out about eerrrr roughly $400-500 on this. well I had this idea for a long time. I been busy with finalz for the past 3 weekz and now i am almost done. tomarrow is all i have left. : )
Blue shelled?  Since when is this Mario Kart?  If it is, I call Dry Bones
I call Koopa Troopa.

« on: December 09, 2013, 06:27:58 PM »
From all the dang MMO's i played i perfer to be Human. Because i like they way the armor fits on normal human characters. I played way to many mmorpgs that it kinda gets boring to look at stats anymore. In most MMO's it is pretty often for people to make a Human character because they have the most base set of stats and then they will make a different type of race character after. Also the Class I love to PLay as is Tank with a bit of sustain meaning as healing. If I am on a second walkthrough i will play as a warrior, theif, or gunner <--- depending on MMO. Will try and list some of the MMO's i played in a bit.

General Gaming Talk / Re: Wii U failing (Part Deux)
« on: December 06, 2013, 05:29:16 PM »
I was actually gonna buy A wii u because of the Monster Hunter Game and Otherz that is coming with it. Nintendo Doesn't really need to try and compete with Sony and MS because it sells more or less family, casual, and regular gamez. Where as in the other system like Sony and MS are trying to compete because they basically have the same games with basically the same thingz. They are trying to have a console fight between each other. Which is why you have a crud load of people buying XB and Sony because it is mostly hardcore gamez waiting all year with their hard earned cash to buy it. In some reportz why people didn't buy the Wii U was because they heard that the systems had a rough area of when they were going to be released which then prompted people to save money for the system because they are absolutely are expensive. I wanted to get the PS4 but prolly another time which is my plan.

Ah but here is where the casual argument goes. Both the PS4 and XBone have been touted as an all in one place for movies, TV, games and everything else. Both are getting many indie titles and there are enough games for the entire family to play on them once their library's come about. That leaves the WiiU with truly a kiddie focus. So sure, some perfect American family that has a mother, father, and two kids, one boy, one girl aged 9 and 11 will be able to play a WiiU, but at the end of the day most consumers will go for the all in one approach then buying a WiiU solely for their nonexistant kids.

And why buy a WiiU when you can pick up the casual friendly Wii at dirt cheap prices. Hell, some people won't be buying a WiiU because outside some titles, it does the same damn thing.

Lastly, Chris don't you soil the Dreamcast while mentioning Nintendo! I'm so hard on them because I want them to actually move on and do something, not dwaddle in the past for 5 more years then shut down their console divions. Think about it, an HD Pokemon MMO, or even if it were just Pokemon HD. So much potential lost because some old guy in Japan calls the shots.
If you are trying to compare that the new thingz on Sony and Micro are different then they were before, they are not. They do the same dam thing that they did before with a shinier polish. As for the indie gamez thing. Most Indie games nowa dayz are kinda a waste because of the constant unfinished product they try to sell to the public. Only a handful has actually made great strides. I mean most of these games that are coming out on the Sony and Micro, are just the same game that were released on the console before this. Movies such as netflix are done on all systemz pretty much, and for TV shows that is basically a step backwardz because in todayz media people want TV on demand not some dam wait for this episode crap. It won't be surprising if MS or Sony pull something off that will make you pay a fee or subscription to such thingz.
